It was a GREAT place! The host had so many welcoming amenities. The furnishings were lovely and comfortable. It was much larger than my husband and I thought it would be. The studio would suit most any age range. We are in our 70’s. Easy parking. The host was easily available for any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was spotless inside and stocked with a few basic supplies, and was exactly as pictured. There were a few things that could be done to make this a five star rating. The outside of the cabin has cobwebs all over the lights, windows, and porch ceiling. Cleaning them off would make it more enjoyable to sit outside, as would removing the dead plants in the planters. Also, I couldn’t take the trash out because there was no trash can that I could find to put it in. The furniture, for me personally, was not comfortable. Both mattresses and the couch were very hard, and I could feel the support structure of the Murphy bed when I was trying to sleep. The location wasn’t as private or remote as it appears. There were random people parking in the cabin’s lot so they could fish next door. The cabin is also very close to a busy main road and a small airport across the road. The first two nights I had trouble sleeping because of the noise. I didn’t see this disclosed in the listing and I feel like it should have been. Finally, the front door needs replaced or repaired because it does not stay locked. Every day I was there, I came back to the cabin and the front door was closed but unlocked. I know it was locked when I left in the mornings because I checked it every day, yet it was unlocked when I got back later in the day. I don’t think the host was up to anything nefarious, but it was unsettling and as a single female traveler, I didn’t feel very secure.
