Cozy Oasis Waterfront Retreat on the Chesapeake's Elk River.

Beautiful contemporary apartment located directly on the Elk River with water access to all points on the bay. This one bedroom apartment is perfect for couples but can accommodate a family with 1 or 2 young children or one more young adult with the pull out living room sofa. There is a fire pit, outdoor grill, gazebo and direct water access for launching your kayak. The area is rich in fishing, crabbing and water sports with sailing, jet skiing, kayaking and motor boating as popular past times. Gorgeous views are breathtaking year round. Wineries and great restaurants near by. You have your own patios and grill and privacy fence/shade. There are state parks in every directions. Entrance is monitored for your safety with security camera. Please ask me about details if needed. Minutes from I-95 and about 50 mins equal distance between Baltimore and Philadelphia Airport. Boating, hiking, camping, shopping, antiquing and a casino within 20 miles.

Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Refer to the handbook for all details please.
All dishes must be washed and dried and put away. If grill was used please be courteous and clean up for next guest. Laundry needs to be started so it can be finished for renters behind you.
All trash taken to appropriate bins outside of front fence. Outside should be as you received it, return furniture/kayaks/tubes if moved or used. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please extinguish fire in fire pit when finished winds can take embers and create unwanted fires.
Bulkhead steps will be slippery when wet, please use caution.
Please be responsible pet owners. Pick up waste outside. Keep off furniture.

Cindy, the host, was extremely communicative and friendly throughout our 2 night stay, we appreciate the little touches she added throughout her home, it made the stay feel warm and enchanting. This was the most relaxing home we have stayed in through Vrbo! This was extremely well taken cared for, and shows a lot of love was put into the home. We appreciate that this little oasis exists not too far away from our home and we will be back again!

Wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed here for several days and had a fantastic stay. The property was spotless and we loved spending our time on the comfortable seating outside gazing at the water and the incredible sunsets. We cannot wait to come back again!

Gorgeous location. Great spot for relaxing. My 17 year old loved the kayaking and my husband loved the bird watching. Host is very attentive and devoted to guests having a peaceful experience. Highly recommend for 2-3 adults!

Cindy has an amazing place that is exactly what we needed to disconnect from the city and really be immersed in the outdoors. She had so many areas outside that can be used including but not limited to a fire pit. She also has so many amazing kitchen appliances that really makes it easy to cook all meals on the property. Highly recommend this spot.

We absolutely loved our stay in Elkton. Beautiful views of the water and very quiet and tranquil. The apartment was clean, very nicely set up, and had everything we needed.

Beautiful bungalow on a private, river front road. Well appointed furnishings with everything you could possibly need. Clean and well kept. The view from the backyard is spectacular, especially at sunset. It also offers great access to the water. It is well situated as a home base with stores, restaurants, bars, and water tours all within 15-30 minutes. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had a fabulous time!

Perfect quiet community feels like you are away for it all but accessible to anything you may want or need.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is fully equipment with everything you could want but a dishwasher. Furniture is modern and comfortable and the environment is well kept. There has been much effort taken in the development of the landscaping to provide inviting plush spaces surrounded by flowering trees, annuals and perennials. There's a peach tree and an asian pear in the front and in the many potted plants I try to keep herbs to share. Home like setting with multiple outdoor sitting areas for reading or peaceful bird watching.
