I would recommend this house - the location cannot be beat, and any part of Seattle is easily accessible. The hosts are not local, and actually a 3rd party entity - but very responsive.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in
This property was clean but there were a number of challenges. CHECK-IN: Took over an hour. We were given the wrong code, entry failed after given two more codes. After some time we entered via a lock box key (should have been told this was at the back door right away). STAIRS: Be advised this is a five story condo, including the rooftop. Lots and lots of stairs.BED description NOT ACCURATE. There is a rollaway bed that was described as a third twin. It was not in the twin room but two floors down that had to be hauled upstairs if you want it in the room advertised.NO PARKING: Parking was described as "available across the street". Not true. Hard to find parking. We had to haul all our stuff from around the corner. Groceries, luggage, etc. Every time we left the condo. Also note - Cherry is a VERY BUSY street. Please exercise caution if you are traveling with children.ROOFTOP: You must open a hatch metal door overhead to access the roof. It's very heavy. Also, there are frayed metal cords to pull the door open and lock. The frayed metal tears skin. It was reported along with loose stair tread. Tread was fixed, metal cord was not. Outdoor furniture getting a bit worn. Pictures are dated.HVAC system: AC doesn't cool consistently and there is a VERY LOUD portable ac unit not pictured in the twin room. Another inaccurate depiction of the unit. TRAFFIC NOICE: Sirens day and night due to the location. We would not stay here again for the above reasons.
Everything was new and very clean. Late afternoon checkout time set for 4pm and early checkout of 10am (unless added fees) did reduce prime sightseeing time without luggage. Rooftop projector was nice but constantly blew over with slight breeze, recommend better way to secure it. Did not come with any parking spot, I thought it mentioned it did; would have been helpful for our visiting family member who lives locally. The trundle bed bedroom was warm in summer, no ac in that room but the fans helped. Good: loved the rooftop projector, could use additional seating there. Arcade was super fun. Laundry washer /dryer and available detergent was super helpful for coming off of cruise ship. Coffee w/creamer and tea a very nice touch. Would have preferred regular coffee as opposed to the available decaf, tho. Liked the decor.
Great location - was about 10 min from Downtown and all the things we planned on doing. The rooftop was a great location to enjoy the beautiful weather. Lots of stairs as it is a townhome but our family could spread out which made it nice for us.
