I have been coming to Italy for 40 years . . . originally introduced by my parents to my Italian cousins. I fell in love with the culture, the beauty and the diversity of the country. My wife and I selected Tuscany as our home way from home as it is such a moving region. Again, culture coupled with world class wine and food make it a most relaxing and enjoyable escape.
Tuscany needs no introduction for those who are aware of her beauty and storied history. There is so much to do and see; we suggest you research as much as you can prior to your trip and make plans to see as much as possible. However, it is not at all unwise to simply meander from village to village and just explore; we guarantee you will stumble upon exquisite scenery, architecture, artistry, heritage, and of course wonderful food and wine. We have been to almost every restaurant in our region and have recommendations to share. The food is undeniably some of the best in the world. Allow us to assist in planning out the perfect itinerary for your time in Castelmuzio or simply make some educated suggestions, we are at your service! Wine lovers with appreciate our proximity to Montalcino and Montepulciano where some of the world's best vintages are produced. Both regions are less than a 30 minute drive from the villa. Pienza is across the valley just 12 minutes away. This historic hamlet features lovely shops and restaurants.
The host and concierge will work with your before and during your holiday to assist in making it a memorable stay.
