Fully renovated waterfront cottage on Great Island with hot tub.

Welcome to the brand new beautifully appointed Blue Goose cottage on Great Island in Narragansett. You will not find a prettier cottage! Although this is a new listing, We are experienced renters who manage our properties ourselves with pride. This new construction retreat features a spacious bedroom with a king bed offering quality bedding and a comfortable mattress which is so important when staying away from home. There is also a brand new pullout queen sofa bed specifically chosen for comfort. In addition, the living space includes a large streaming TV, electric remote controlled fireplace, and gorgeous views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Our kitchen features a beautiful sea glass chandelier, stainless appliances, and everything you need to prepare meals, cocktails for the deck, or coffee on the front porch or kitchen island. We offer a well-equipped large bathroom with a glass enclosed tile shower and plenty of room for getting ready for a night out. Washer and dryer are offered, as well. The Blue Goose features a sizable deck with gorgeous views of the Great Salt Pond with cozy couch seating, a propane fire table and Weber grill. Use the yard space for a game of corn hole or bocce! Take advantage of the adorable outdoor hot water shower. Star gaze in the hot tub. Great Island is the perfect place for biking and walking. There are multiple areas on the island to launch kayaks and small boats. The state boat launch is less than five minutes away. The Block Island Ferry is walkable or bike able, as is Salty Brine Beach and Roger Wheeler, just a bit further. There are several restaurants in this area as well, such as George’s of Galilee, Champlain’s and Spain. Great thought effort and care has gone into creating a beautiful, one of a kind space you will not find at other rentals. Hand chosen decor, comfortable bedding, quality linens and multiple spaces to unwind and enjoy your getaway in a romantic setting make The Blue Goose perfect for couples. Very cute little house in a great location. Quick bike ride to the Block Island Ferry, a few restaurants and the beach. Not too far from University of Rhode Island for visiting parents. House was very clean and provided towels and sheets. Deck with fire table was great at night along with the hot tub. Host was very communicative and recommended some great places. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very beautiful clean house. Even the towels smelled rich. I wish the jacuzzi was a little more private and that there was a kayak launch in walking distance but all and all we had a fabulous time.

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. It is perfectly situated for views of the water. The back deck was a perfect location to take it all in. The cottage itself was beautifully renovated. We did some kayaking and biking. Located close to Block Island Ferry, beaches and some great seafood restaurants. We had an amazing trip.

My Husband and I give this perfect getaway on Great Island in Narragansett RI a 5* star all the way! As a Rhode Island native; you couldn't ask for a nicer place to be near all the best of Narragansett activities, restaurants, beaches, short drives to wonderful little towns like Wickford, Jamestown, Newport, Charlestown, Westerly and of course URI...yet just private enough to feel like you're in your own little haven. The home is quaint and beautifully decorated with all amenities needed. Then you step outside onto the deck with a beautiful view over the water and pleasing yard landscaping, comfortable outdoor furniture, gas grill, jacuzzi, outdoor shower and a lovely gas firepit for a chilly morning or evening. It's just what the soul ordered when you'd like to watch a sunrise and start a new day in beautiful Narragansett. Tara the Host was amazing to work with, she was so personable and quick to respond. If you're looking for a week long couples retreat or a place to spend a weekend near other family and friends; this is the place! We will defiantly come stay again. Serenity

Duck Duck Goose…The Blue Goose is a Slice of Paradise!

From impeccable details to the stunning location, the Blue Goose is a perfect place to soak up the sun, the summer and all that New England coastal towns have to offer. It has been completely re-built from scratch into a clean, comfortable & high-end getaway cottage. As you gaze out out the back to the open views of the water, you can soak in the quiet & serene spot in the heart of Great Island. A quick 3-minute car ride and you can enjoy some of the freshest seafood right off the boat and live entertainment for days at the beach. It is also just a quick ride to the historic Narragansett Pier & beaches. There are restaurants for days if you do not feel like cooking in the brand-new fully-stocked kitchen. Perhaps you want to throw some fresh fish on the grill and just lounge by the fire pit or in the hot tub. There is also an outdoor shower for those beach days.Whether it’s a summer trip to take in the local sites or just a weekend getaway, you will be hard-pressed to find a cleaner and more comfortable cottage with details for days. It was also a bonus that the owners were super responsive.

The location is wonderful offering the freshest seafood in the country mere steps away in Galilee, beautiful beaches and the Block Island Ferry no more than 3 minutes away by car, clamming on our Great Salt Pond, kayaking and boating with a launch visible from our property, safe walking or biking, and peaceful surroundings no matter where you are on island
