Loved our visit!

As a first time visitor to Saint Augustine we cannot wait to come back. Our condo was tastefully decorated, in a great location and the view was spectacular. We loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the pickleball courts. Thanks for a great vacation!

Beautiful condo and view

Clean, well-stocked and beautiful condo. Updated and beachy! Lovely decor. Amazing view. Awesome pool and excellent beach. Comfy beds. Loved the Keurig!! My only suggestion is a keypad entry so we don’t need to worry about keys.

Great 3BR condo with beach view

We stayed for 6 nights in May and had a wonderful time. Great location right on the beach with a huge pool. Property grounds were well maintained and staff was friendly. Condo was perfect and had everything we needed. The beds were VERY comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the patio balcony. It was a short walk to the beach, with clean, soft sand and clear water…a really beautiful beach. No major issues with noise even though it was a large complex and we faced the pool. Pool closed at dusk and opened at 9am and staff was on top of that. Overall just a wonderful trip and we will definitely return.

Perfect - Close to Beach, Close to Pool

My family of 7 stayed for a week at this condo and we had a great time. The location is just perfect. You overlook the pool and can see the ocean. You can see the ocean from your covered porch. The condo was clean, mattresses were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the week. The condo was about 20 minutes from St, Augustine - which is a cool city. We did have a really terrible experience with the property manager, Colony Reef - but that has nothing to do with the condo owner or this condo.

Hi Michael, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry you had a negative experience with the property management company. We know you had locked yourself out on Sunday and were advised by maintenance that he would not be able to assist for a few hours as he was not in town. When maintenance did come to the property to assist, you informed him his services were no longer required. We do our best to respond promptly to any maintenance requests but guests are provided with two sets of keys and are expected to maintain at all times. I understand that this was a frustrating experience, but it was truly preventable. Grace J. Rental Manager

June 2022 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was nice. Beds were comfortable. Unit was updated. Cons included under the couch, coffee table and TV stand was dirt and debris. Wash and dryer are the small stackable kind. Suggest updating the laundry area to support a large standard washer and dryer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good experience. The unit could use a couple of updates but overall it was fine. The outdoor chairs and table need to be replaced, they are rusting. The dishwasher does not wash very well and needs to be ran a couple of times to clean the dishes. All in all the stay was relaxing and comfortable.

Lovely condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 1206 was newly renovated so all furnishings were nice. Sliding glass door to patio very difficult to open and needs a handle on the outside. Also, door between 2nd bedroom and hall bath was made permanently shut so that was a little inconvenient for the 2nd bedroom users. Otherwise, we enjoyed our family vacation and will look forward to returning next year!

Average Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at your resort for many years and have rented well over 20 units. I pay for the Gold choice when available. This unit was charged as such but was outdated. I do not think it was worth the price. Also, 2 towels per bath is not enough for what you charge. We did laundry quite often.
Response from VrboOwner on 18 Jun, 2024
Hi Joy, Thank you for being a long time visitor of Colony Reef Club! When you have a chance please email me about what you felt was outdated in the unit so we can share that with the condo owner. We are always open to feedback to make sure all our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay! We provide 6 bath towels in all our condos, but please know you can always call or email the front desk and we are happy to get you additional linens! We look forward to having you back next year! Summer 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our beach vacation. The condo was in a great location. We enjoyed the condo and had no complaints. The king size mattress was very comfortable, we liked the furniture being leather, kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer worked but are very small - would be nice if they were larger. The patio table and chairs were nice as well. The new improved boardwalk to beach was a wonderful surprise this year to have a ramp at both ends and no steps! The landscaping was also improved with some of the big bushes being removed. We wished the pool was open a little later (closes at dusk for turtle season).... But we got the privilege of actually seeing the turtles hatch on our last night there which was awesome.
Response from VrboOwner on 28 Jul, 2022
Emily, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We will pass on your recommendations regarding the washer and dryer to the owners! We understand that the pool now closing at dusk can be a little disappointing, but thankfully we can make small changes like this to help protect Florida wildlife! Colony Reef Club Reservation Team

Perfection on Butler Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family travels to St. Augustine annually but this was our first time staying at Colony Reef Club. We are a family of 5, consisting of my husband, myself, our two kids (3 + 9) and my husband's mom (aka Nana.) Our check in was super easy and flexible. Our flight was delayed so we did not arrive until midnight, but the locker check in procedure made the process super easy. The unit itself and the entire property overall is immaculate and meticulously maintained. We really enjoyed and took advantage of all of the amenities. We had a couple rainy afternoons, so the indoor pool came in handy so we did not have to sacrifice pool time due to the unexpected weather. The outdoor pool is gorgeous and the boardwalk to the beach is a game changer. It made getting to and from the beach so much easier. Also, as parents we really appreciated the safety of gates to the pool and also to the beach. Our AirBNB host (condo owner) was phenomenal. We found the office and grounds staff to be nice as well when we ran into them. This particular unit is perfectly located on the second floor so an easy walk up the stairs if you do not want to wait for the elevator, but also conveniently located next to the elevator which makes bringing luggage and groceries in a breeze. The view is perfect and super close to the pool so worked out well for us. My only minor feedback would be to maybe have some basic items provided. We did not have a kitchen garbage bag or any dish soap which was a tiny bit of a hassle since we got there so late at night and didn't want to drag our kids out to the store that late. The office did state that every unit receives an "amenities pack" but it is extremely basic, and seems to differ from unit to unit or who cleans. Our friends had a different unit and they were provided with a few more items. But now that we know, we know. Overall we were extremely happy and would love to return in th

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had an amazing time at Brian’s condo. He was an outstanding host - anything we had questions about was answered immediately (or before we could think of it.) 😊The condo is beautiful and was SUPER clean. It is in a very convenient location close to downtown St Augustine but far enough away you can relax without being swarmed by other people. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything you could think of, and the patio area overlooked the pool and ocean.I would definitely stay here again. 12/10 rating.
