Cozy garden cottage tucked away in the peaceful Agoura Hills, just minutes from Malibu’s beautiful beaches. This charming shabby-chic retreat has warm Irish pine accents, comfortable furnishings, and a relaxed country feel—perfect for a romantic getaway or a quiet escape from the city.

The main bedroom sleeps two, and a single bed in the dining nook with a privacy screen provides comfortable space for a third guest.

Surrounded by beautiful California oaks, the Cottage has a spacious private yard—perfect for morning coffee, reading in the sunshine, stargazing, outdoor dining, or simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with advance disclosure and payment of the pet fee. The large private yard gives you plenty of outdoor space to enjoy together. Dogs must be house-trained and are not permitted on furniture, beds, bedding, pillows, or cushions. Please review our full pet and house rules before booking.

The neighborhood is nestled among lush greenery and towering trees, providing a serene backdrop for outdoor exploration. I especially enjoy taking leisurely walks through the nearby hiking trails, where you can immerse yourself in nature and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The area also offers a variety of charming restaurant and Winery within walking distance, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. It’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a welcoming community.

What makes this property unique

The cottage sits on 5 peaceful acres shared with a few other unique Airbnb stays and long-term residents. Your cottage and patio are private.

We occasionally have well-behaved rescue dogs at the main house. They may bark if visitors approach unexpectedly, so please avoid walking up to the main house unless arranged in advance.

Our rescue horses and burro live in the meadow below. You’re welcome to enjoy watching them from the fence line or while walking by, please do not enter their enclosure unless invited.

Nature is part of the charm here. You may see peacocks, hummingbirds, deer, hawks, owls, woodpeckers, and other wildlife around the property. Their presence adds to the peaceful atmosphere, but please do not feed wildlife, and keep doors closed to prevent curious visitors from wandering in.
