Thank you so much for the 5 stars and the kind words, Angela! When you arrived early with your parents, our housekeeper was just finishing up and saw you parking and had your hands full, so we thought it best to leave the door open so you wouldn't have to deal with the lock. That said, we were also mid-transition to a new smart lock system and your automated code hadn't fired yet, so I understand the check-in felt unclear without that context. We love going the extra mile for our guests and will make sure the communication is tighter next time. Hope to welcome you and your family back soon!
