The house is 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, spacious kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted ceilings and skylights. It has a wood shingled exterior with a spacious open well lighted interior. The kitchen adjoins the common area with granite counter tops, craftsman wooden kitchen cabinets and Douglas-fir flooring. The large south-facing redwood decks are accessed from the south west bedroom and the common room through two French doors giving a view of the large enclosed fenced back yard. The house is set well back from the road by a large grassy front yard in a quiet semi-rural neighborhood. The family vacation house is close to beaches and sea cliffs, accessible by walking paths. Downtown Fort Bragg with restaurants, shops, a museum and the famous Skunk Train is close by.

The house was very spacious and centrally located. Lots of comfortable seating for multiple people. The furniture, bedding and cookware were old. The owner was at the house when we arrived fixing a closet door. He returned the next day to water the plants in and outside the house. My guests and I had left to go sightseeing we did give him permission to go in the house but 3 hours later when we returned he was still there which we found pretty odd.

Great layout for a big group, spacious kitchen & living space, huge yard and patio area perfect for kids and families. The host, Christopher, was terrific. He met us at the house to show us around and gave us some tips on where to take family walks/bike rides. He was great to work with, friendly & knowledgeable.

This property was exceptional. The house fits multiple families with great comfort. The fenced in back yard is perfect for young children. The deck and outside eating area was very inviting. It is extremely close to the beach. Spacious, has every amenity and the kindest host.

The cottage is huge and was bedrooms well spaced for privacy. We had a family wedding and were constantly moving activities all weekend. The location was close to other family members staying nearby and all activities were not further than 15 minutes. Everything was clean inside the cottage and easy to find. Christopher was very communicative.

Nice Resting Spot

The large bedrooms and huge kitchen made a perfect retreat for our six people. The large yard is pleasant and has a table that you can eat on as well as the kitchen table.The kitchen is well stocked and the owner was open to communication during our stay. This was a lovely and relaxing place.

Yearly family get together!

This home has a large kitchen area for lot's of "foodies" to cook together. There is a very large fenced yard. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again.

The Orchid House

Beautiful house and grounds are beautiful! Was perfect for my quilting retreat. The kitchen is wonderful! I cooked several gourmet meals for our group in that kitchen with ease. We can’t wait to come back again next year!
