Welcome to The Jungle—a vibrant, design-forward retreat above historic Habersham Street in the heart of Savannah’s Landmark District. Just a half-block from Bay Street, this 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom hideaway blends 1852 charm with bold jungle wallpaper, leafy murals, and quirky Southern flair.
You’ll enter through a private staircase under real gas lanterns before stepping into a colorful, totally unique escape above our hospitality office. Think palm leaves, pineapples, and plenty of personality—The Jungle is unlike anywhere else in Savannah.
The Space:
3 bedrooms:
1 King bedroom
1 Queen bedroom
1 Daybed with a trundle (can convert into a King setup or two separate twins)
1 full bathroom with vintage character and modern updates
Living room with statement wallpaper and cozy seating
Efficiency kitchen with a 2-top burner, microwave, refrigerator and toaster
High ceilings, original hardwood floors, and funky design touches throughout
Gas lantern-lit entry and a completely private staircase

Guest Access:
The Jungle is located on the upper floor of our boutique building, with a completely private entrance. Our office is on the first level, but your space is exclusively yours. You’ll have self-check-in with keypad access and full privacy throughout your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The Jungle on Habersham is ideally located in the heart of Savannah’s Historic Landmark District—just a half-block off Bay Street and steps from River Street. You’re tucked into a quiet, charming stretch of downtown that feels private but places you within walking distance of the city’s most iconic sights, celebrated restaurants, and must-visit local spots.
Right next door is B. Matthew’s Eatery, a beloved neighborhood bistro known for its elevated Southern brunch, creative cocktails, and cozy atmosphere. Walk just a few minutes down Bay Street and you’ll hit Treylor Park, a quirky and highly rated local favorite offering inventive comfort food (fried chicken pancake tacos, anyone?) and an excellent cocktail list.

Getting Around:
Everything is within walking distance from this location! However, if you're bringing a car, we can park one vehicle in the rear of the property, but there is ample amount of street parking nearby and a garage just a block away if you feel more comfortable with covered parking. Uber is always a good way to go a longer distance across town. The Downtowner is also available, which is a City-ran "Uber" that is FREE of charge! The DOT shuttle bus is free as well and has a pick-up just around the block on the corner of Congress & Lincoln.
Interaction with Guests:
Our office is downstairs in the area below, we can open our door and help you if you have any issues, need any directions, or just want to chat :) Please keep noises to a reasonable volume during normal business hours as we are trying to get some work done ;) Unfortunately we are not on vacation, but we work so that you can have fun and enjoy our beautiful City!
