Iconic Venice Beach bungalow, just a few minutes` walk from the beach, the Venice Canals, and Abbot Kinney shopping.
You walk in and the first thing you notice is the light. Abundant windows make the rooms feel even more spacious. Within minutes you`re relaxed, at home, as if a friend lent you their beloved family house. It is equally welcoming to a single traveler or a family with small children.
The space If you decide to relax at home, instead of embarking on an adventure, you will find the main house features a bright queen bedroom and a full bathroom, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The detached guest suite is tucked away in the backyard and has a king bed, its own A/C and heat, and large windows overlooking the patio.
Patio: Outside, the spacious, gated backyard patio features a built-in fire pit, an outdoor BBQ with griddle, a dining table for six, and lounge seating, ideal for al fresco dinners, morning coffee, or evenings under the stars.
Cooking/Eating: Food lovers tend to feel at home here. The kitchen is set up to actually use, with a high-functioning gas stove, good knives, quality utensils, and a proper coffee setup. Outside there is a BBQ with a griddle.
Neighborhood: Walk to Venice Beach`s legendary boardwalk, skate park, and roller dancing circle, or explore the iconic canals just a few blocks away. Abbot Kinney is right around the corner, lined with Michelin-recognized restaurants like Felix Trattoria and Gjelina, artisan coffee shops, boutiques, and street art. Grab a $20 Erewhon smoothie, pass technicolor murals, and discover something new every time you step outside.
Relax: You`re here to enjoy Venice. You can skip the dishes, skip the laundry, skip the tidy-up. We will take care of all of it. Just relax, get a coffee, see the beach, get something delicious to eat and chill.
Guest access Driveway at the back of the house is available for guest use. Please note: it fits compact cars most comfortably. Larger vehicles may need to use street parking.
Other things to note The second bedroom shares an exterior wall with the alley, so light noise is possible. Most guests don’t find it disruptive, but we like to mention it in advance, especially for light sleepers
While the house is child friendly, parents of toddlers and small children should be aware the home isn`t child-proofed, so parents should plan to supervise.

The location is excellent and is walkable to everywhere in town. The house was bright and sunny and was very well stocked. There was extra paper goods and pretty much everything you need for cooking. The beds were great as were the towels and linens. The backyard is amazing and so comfortable. I highly recommend it!
The host, Jakob, was wonderful, kind, and helpful. The place is beautiful and so close to the Venice boardwalk and beach. Everything worked well. We give it a 5 star rating.
Jakob was very helpful and willing to do anything to make visit go well - he showed us where to rent bikes, best restaurants and a 25. gift to a local grocer! felt very generous.
This is a very nice house and the hosts are very proactive in welcoming the guests - There is a carport that goes with the unit but street parking is also plentifulWe didn’t really use the kitchen or the washer but everything that is necessary seemed to be there The location is a few minutes walk from the beach and there are coffee shops and restaurants also very close by
The host was so kind, friendly, and responsive. This was easily the most seamless home rental experience I’ve ever had. The property is perfect for a group and is a true fit for the Venice neighbourhood vibe. 11/10 would recommend. We stayed with 2 couples and 1 baby, more than enough space. Only thing I would have changed is staying longer! Thanks so much for being a fantastic host Jakob!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Our host was incredibly communicative and helpful with any questions or concerns that came up. Finding the house in the dark was a bit tricky, but once we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The house is beautifully decorated with a sense of casual luxury. Linens and towels were high-quality and plentiful, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped—with a high-functioning gas stove, excellent knives, quality utensils, and great coffee service. It made cooking and hosting effortless. My partner and I hosted my family, including a two-year-old who had plenty of safe space to run and play in the fenced backyard. The house gets lovely morning sunlight and comfortable shade in the afternoon. We really enjoyed having lunchtime meals at the large outdoor picnic table.Inside, the living room features a big TV and a very comfortable sofa. The location is ideal—just a couple of blocks off Abbot Kinney, with tons of restaurants and shops and easy access to everything. There’s also a great playground nearby, and it’s an easy walk to the famous Venice Canals, the boardwalk, skate park, Muscle Beach, and the beach itself. We would absolutely stay here again!
