Everything was so easy and the instructions for check in and checkout were very clear. I appreciated the little notes left around the cottage as helpful reminders. The checkout process was easy and didn't require much. The property was clean and cozy. We had an awesome time and would consider staying again in the future.

The host was very friendly, helpful and added very nice touches, such as a basket of toiletries, water in the fridge, and a snack basket. This is a beautiful, quiet getaway. One thing is that it is very tight quarters and a bit difficult to maneuver around the bed. If you are sensitive to smells, there was a lot of Febreeze smell on the furniture.

Perfect Northern Michigan Escape

I stayed at Rosebud Cottage in July and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect — close to everything in Petoskey and Harbor Springs yet so peaceful and quiet. The air conditioning was such a gift during the warm days, and Sanchia was the kindest, most thoughtful host I could imagine. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described — such a nice place to come home to after visiting my family. I hope to stay here again the next time I come home.

I have lived in Northern Michigan since 1986 and my husband is born and raised here. I was born in the U.K., moved to the U.S. as a baby, but moved back to England for 2 1/2 years as a teen. Then back here to this area.
My husband and I love to travel and have stayed at places like ours in many parts of Europe and the U.S.. Our goal is to not only provide a peaceful place for you to relax, but also help you see what a beautiful place Northern Michigan is. We will always try to make ourselves available to answer questions, offer recommendations and help make your visit amazing.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area to live because we are surrounded by peace and nature. Usually every day we see deer walking through our property as well as the occasional turkey, with babies in tow. Sitting back and watching the wildlife is one our favorite things to do.

What makes this property unique

Rosebud Cottage is unique do to its location. Being centrally located between Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City is one very nice option. We are also located near 6 different golf courses. Then we are surrounded by fields, woods and plenty of wildlife right outside your front door.
