The Harney Cottage - Walk to UW games!

Welcome to the cute and cozy Harney Cottage, located just 5 blocks from the University of Wyoming, 10 blocks from War Memorial Stadium (20 minute walk to football games!), and 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Laramie. This 1930s home has been lovingly updated and is ready to host you with 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 1 bathroom, plus a full kitchen, barbecue grill, & outdoor dining area. Work remotely with fast fiber internet and a dedicated workspace. Free off-street and on-street parking!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by our recently updated home, including fresh paint and LVP flooring. A section of the yard is fenced - great for pets! Please see the Pet Policy, Guest Policy in our House Rules for more information.

Enjoy your meals at the dining bar, which seats four, or outside on the patio, which seats six. During the summer months, grill on the barbecue in the fenced backyard and enjoy Laradise's warm summer nights underneath the twinkle lights! Please note the kitchen *does not* have a dishwasher nor garbage disposal.

The first bedroom includes a king bed It also includes a dedicated workspace with a comfortable chair and a lamp with a USB outlet. The second bedroom includes a queen bed.

*Guest access*
The cottage is completely private - it's a stand-alone, single-family home. The entrance pathway has two stairs. The home itself is single level with no stairs.

*Other things to note*
Like most houses in Laramie, we do not have central air-conditioning. A portable A/C unit may be available for the primary bedroom only in July and August. We're happy to answer questions about the portable A/C prior to your booking.

There is free off-street parking in the driveway on the west side of the house. The driveway can accommodate one car or two cars if you're willing to double-park. There is free street parking along Harney Street in front of the house (first come, first serve - University visitors may also park on the street at peak times of day). Please note that Harney Street and 15th Streets are two of the busier arterial roads in Laramie, so traffic noise will increase during the morning and evening.

One of the highlights of this rental is its fantastic location. You'll find yourself just:

- 1 mile from Safeway grocery store
- 1.5 miles from Downtown Laramie

For nature enthusiasts, Laramie offers an abundance of outdoor activities. Discover the breathtaking beauty of nearby Vedauwoo Recreation Area (30-minute drive) or hike the trails at Medicine Bow National Forest (45- to 60-minute drive). During the winter months, you can hit the slopes at Snowy Range Ski Area, just a 45-minute drive away.

*Pet Policy*
All pets must be listed on the reservation at the time of booking. Pet fees apply and vary by booking platform. We allow up to one dog or cat. A second pet may be approved by request prior to the start of your stay. All other animals, including pets brought by visitors, are not allowed. Additional or unapproved animals are subject to 1) a minimum fine of $250 per animal plus the cost of any additional pet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, and/or whole home air duct cleaning, and 2) the immediate termination of your reservation without a refund.

Pet waste must be collected and disposed of promptly in the exterior trash cans, no less than once per day. If pet waste is not promptly removed, you will receive one 24-hour warning. After that, we will charge you for pet waste disposal, which starts at $35 per day plus any initial clean-up fees. All pets must be housebroken.

Pets must be attended to and leashed when outside. A portion of the yard is fenced; pets may be off-leash in this area only.

Any pet damages, including but not limited to excessive cleaning, carpet stains, and furniture destruction are the guests' responsibility and will be billed as charged. Any concerns about animal abuse or abandonment will result in the immediate termination of your reservation without a refund.

*Guest Policy*
All guests must be registered on your reservation or lease regardless of age, including infants and children. We may require names, government-issued identification, and/or dates of birth to verify the identities of all guests.

We are happy to host guests up to the occupancy limit allowed by our listing. Please contact us if you need to make changes!

Visitors are not allowed unless approval is granted at least 24 hours in advance by the host in writing. Approved visitors are allowed between the hours of 6 AM and 10 PM. Any person present at the property between the hours of 10 PM and 6 AM, including approved visitors, will be considered a guest and/or unregistered guest as applicable.

Guests beyond the occupancy limit, unregistered guests, and/or unapproved visitors are not allowed at any time and may result in the immediate termination of your reservation without a refund. The registered guest(s) are responsible for the actions of any persons they permit to be on the property.

If you have hired domestic service providers, such as a housekeeper, dog walker, or pet sitter, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the start of their services with their name, company name, expected arrival time and frequency. We are happy to create separate lock codes for such service providers. If we are not contacted, we may suspect trespassing or other illegal activity and will contact the local police department. We are also happy to arrange domestic services on your behalf; please contact us for more information or recommendations!

*Early Check-In and Late Check-Out*
If you desire an early check-in or late check-out, please contact the host at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your stay. We’re happy to accommodate guests whenever we can. Early check-in or late check-out are not guaranteed and will only be honored if granted by the host in writing when our schedule allows. We are happy to modify your reservation to include additional available nights if you contact us.

If you fail to leave the property by the agreed check-out time, we will contact local authorities to assist with your removal. You may also be held liable for the business impact and damages to us. Beginning one-hour after the agreed check-out time, we have the right, if you have not left the property by such time, to charge you two (2) times the average nightly rate of your reservation, and again every twenty-four (24) hours of your overstay until you vacate. In no case shall these charges prevent or preclude the local authorities from removing you from the property immediately.
