We had a wonderful time at this property! It’s perfect for large gatherings—very spacious overall, especially the living room, which was great for everyone to relax together. The outdoor area is also expansive, and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean, which we really appreciated.That said, the house and grounds could use a little TLC. Some of the yard was overgrown, and inside there were a few minor issues, like a missing kitchen cabinet door, a hole in the wall, and a few pieces of stained furniture. The heating and A/C setup was also a bit tricky, with two thermostats controlling different sides of the house.One important note: the pool depth should be labeled. The middle is about 8 feet deep, which could be a concern for families with small children.Overall, the owner was very communicative and accommodating. With a little maintenance, this could easily be a five-star stay. We still had a great experience and made wonderful memories!

The house was not at all as represented on the website. We tried repeatedly to communicate with the owner, who only responded to one initial concern- that the house had no heat and we had to sleep with the temperature at 52 degrees the first night. We had no heat in the kitchen and living room for the first 20 hours of our stay. The owner did not respond to any of our other concerns. We had 3 military families staying together in an attempt to spend limited, valuable time with our cadets. The experience was very disappointing. The house is worn, without locks on the windows. The kitchen sink has holes in it and mold around the caulking. Two of the four showers had mold growing. The house configuration is not supportive of large groups. There are dirty electric heaters throughout the house. The furniture is old and worn. Many of the window treatments were bent. The floors are worn, dirty and scratched. There are spider webs throughout the house and we found a wasp in a bed. The deck and lawn chairs are all worn out and some are broken. There was algae in the hot tub. The pool is dangerous and cannot be to code. The slide is held together by duct tape. One side of the pool is broken and poses a fall risk. The steps are narrow and not well lit. There is a pineapple size hornets nest at the entrance to the property.
