Les 3 Glaciers residence is in a superb location overlooking the traditional Savoyard village of Montchavin, at the heart of the Paradiski ski area with 425km of slopes to explore. Located in La Plagne, the traditional village of Montchavin is an extremely desirable and practical location, as it enables access not only to La Plagne, but also Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry, which is linked by the Vanoise Express cable car (Europe's largest).
The apartment is a luxury 3 bedroom duplex on the top floor of residence Les 3 Glaciers (there is a lift to all floors). The spacious apartment, offers accommodation over 78 m2, featuring a large lounge with comfortable seating and 42 inch flat screen TV with British channels. 1 sofa and 1 sofa bed sleeping 2 persons, dining area, fully equipped kitchen with mini oven, microwave and full size dishwasher, three bedrooms (master with double bed and ensuite shower), double bedroom with twin beds and another double bedroom with twin beds.
Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be provided - please ask if these are required (additional charge).

There are two family bathrooms with bath and shower (one ground floor and one on 1st floor). The large balcony offers superb views of Mont Blanc and the valley below.

There is a ski locker right next to the ski in/ski out (ski in/ski out subject to snow conditions), with access to the Montchavin chair lift and a few minutes away from the spectacular Vanoise Express double-decker cable car.

There is free wifi in the apartment.

Autoroute delays meant check-in and linen collection were disrupted. All sorted out for us by phone from the car. Apartment very good.

We were beautifully welcomed by the host in this gorgeous area of la plagne. The flat is nice and living room is great. Kitchen small but we did not cook. The only issue was apparently the manager who yelled at us for making a bbq in the garden. She really frightened the children. Otherwise would come to this area again anytime.

Comfortable spacious apartment with easy access to great skiing

The apartment exceeded our expectations in space and comfort with plenty of room for our party of 7 adults. The place is warm with plenty of hot water and never a queue for the shower or bath. The beds are very comfortable which is rarely the case with holiday accommodation and the kitchen although small is well equipped with an excellent counter top oven - we cooked in all but one night without problems. Being on the top floor, the apartment has wonderful mountain views and the lift means there is no price to pay for this! Montchavin, a pretty original alpine village, is just below the apartment block - the walk back up is fine in walking boots but more challenging in ski boots! This was only an issue for the older and novice skiers in our party who preferred to take the bubble lift down from Les Coches rather than negotiate the melt /freeze conditions on the last run down to the apartment. In colder, more snowy weather this would not have been a problem. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would not hesitate to recommend for anyone looking for quality self catering accommodation

Spacious and convenient

We stayed in the 3rd week of March as a party of 8 adults. Arrival instructions from Michael was clear and the apartment is exactly as pictured on the website. We used every available bed including the sofa bed in the lounge which was comfortable. Even so, there was enough room and privacy for everybody. Everything in the apartment was clean on arrival, including bed linen and towels. The kitchen is well equipped with sufficient cutlery and crockery and a dishwasher. We opted to cook most nights and enjoyed the long table that seats 8 comfortably. The Sherpa supermarket in Montchavin stocks only the basics and is expensive. For food shopping we went to the new Le Clerc supermarket in Aime La Plagne which is about 25 mins down the mountain. Bourg St Maurice is the same distance away. There is a large fridge freezer in the apartment so easy to store a week's worth of groceries. We rented ski's from the rental shop in Les Trois Glaciers. Worthwhile to book online beforehand for discounts. It was easy to ski out in the morning to Montchavin chairlift and back in the afternoon the same way. (This may be a problem late in the season depending on snow conditions). Very convenient for Les Arcs as well, and it would be worthwhile to get the full Paradiski pass and to travel to Les Arcs for half of the week as the snow tends to be better there late in the season. We enjoyed the village of Montchavin as well - although it is quiet, it is pretty and authentic with a real working dairy. There are a few good bars and restaurants. We had a memorable birthday dinner at Le Moulin a Poivre. The walk back from the village is steep and takes about 15 mins. I can recommend this apartment for a large group of experienced skieers that don’t mind skiing a longer run home at the end of the day.

L’appartement est prévu pour 10 nous étions 7 et c’était très bien (au delà je ne sais pas où on s’assoit autour de la table). Espace de vie spacieux, vue magnifique sur les montagnes et accès facile via la piste Mont-blanc à quelques pas. L’arrivée et le départ se font très facilement : la boîte à clés est un vrai atout. Les serviettes et les draps mis à disposition sont un vrai confort. Par contre dans l’annonce il est dit qu’il y a une buanderie en collectivité l’espace existe mais il n’y a pas de machine. Quand au hammam et au sauna inconnus eux aussi …. Vraiment dommage de l’indiquer sur l’annonce alors que ce n’est pas vrai. En échangeant avec d’autres propriétaires ces équipements ne sont plus en fonction depuis près de 4 ans ! Parler anglais est nécessaire pour échanger avec le propriétaire.

Appartement très convivial et bien placé

Nous avons adoré la vue sur la montagne qui permet à elle seule de s’oxygéner. Ajoutez y un appartement très bien conçu et bien placé par rapport aux pistes de ski ( peu utilisées cette année) et vous obtenez un lieu très sympa , avec en prime un sauna sur réservation et un proprio Mickael très sympa. Appartement très bien conçu

L appartement est très bien aménagé et spacieux, idéal pour un séjour en famille. Il est très bien équipé. La résidence est agréable, malheureusement la laverie était hors service, aucune machine à laver dans le local. Le concierge de la résidence est très désagréable et nous a avancé notre créneau réservé pour le spa d une demi heure sans prévenir donc nous n avons pas pu en profiter. Même pour une année sans ski nous avons bien profité de notre séjour. Les villages sont typiques et des activités hors ski sont organisées. Les échanges avec Michael ont été très cordiaux et nombreux. Un hôte très sympathique. Location dans laquelle on se sent comme chez nous et où nous serons heureux de revenir.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir hatten ein Anreise von 8 Stunden und waren früher da als 16 Uhr. Wir konnten trotzdem schon in die Unterkunft und haben die Wohnung direkt bezogen. Die Ausstattung und die Bilder entsprechen genau den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Das Schlafzimmer mit „Ausblick“ ist schon toll, gerade morgens, nach dem Aufwachen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist komplett und wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Bettbezüge, die Handtücher, alles war frisch und ordentlich. Die Sauberkeit in Küche (Herd) und unter den Betten könnte ein bisschen besser sein. Wir sind diesbezüglich aber nicht so empfindlich und es hat uns nicht wirklich gestört. Wireless LAN ist in der Wohnung leider nicht vorhanden und wenn, dann nur so schwach, daß man es kaum nutzen konnte. Den Brötchenservice im Haus haben wir genutzt und hat super funktioniert. Da wir uns selbst versorgt haben, haben wir das Restaurant nicht genutzt. Es sah aber sehr einladend aus. Ski Out und In hat super funktioniert, es könnte aber, wenn weniger Schnee vorhanden ist, ein wenig problematisch werden. Die Lage in Montchavin ist perfekt um das ganze Skigebiet „Paradieski“ zu erkunden. Man wohnt im Prinzip direkt in der Mitte zwischen La Pagne und Les Arce und die Gondel befindet sich in unmittelbarere Nähe der Unterkunft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Wir hatten auch das Glück 6 Tage schönstes Wetter zu haben und perfekte Skipisten vorzufinden. Zusammenfassend -> eine tolle Unterkunft in einem tollen Skigebiet. Daumen hoch!!

Très bien

Très bon emplacement, appartement très confortable et avec une belle vue. Accès très pratique au domaine. Dommage que le hamam, la piscine et la machine à laver ne soit pas accessible. Le sauna est accessible avec réservation, ce qui garanti une certaine tranquillité. Très bon séjour !

Light,airy, well equiped and perfect location

Probably one of the best apartments we have stayed in! The beds are comfortable and the lounge too. Definitely ski in ski out with a lovely bar as you quite literally step off the piste. The village a 10 minute walk is very pretty with some fab bars and restaurants.The walk back (uphill is challenging for those of us not as fit as we used to be but doable, the youngesters sprinted up!) No problems with hot water as in passed years enough for baths and showers for all 5 of us.Would definitely return

Formidable séjour au ski

bonjour Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette station et dans l'appartement. Cet appartement est très bien situé - nous accédons à la piste avec les skis aux pieds et proche du centre ville avec tous les commerces. Il est très fonctionnel avec une magnifique vue sur la vallée. Il est conforme à la description et les 3 salles d'eau sont appréciables. Michael nous a fourni toutes les informations pour l'arrivée et les bons plans pour les locations de ski.

Logés dans un spacieux et agréable duplex, nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Montchavin, petit village de montage très agréable et enneigé. 10 jours d'exception en famille... Des parents reposés et des adolescents comblés!

Appartement réellement conforme au descriptif. Tout y est: la vue, l'espace de vie, l'équipement vraiment complet. La chambre "avec vue" est simplement... fantastique au réveil! Michael nous a fourni des explications très détaillées, facilitant ainsi notre arrivée, notre départ et l'organisation de notre séjour. Le village de Montchavin possède tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances en montagne et des animations pour tous sont proposées à différents moments de la semaine. Seul bémol: la piscine de la résidence est vraiment de taille inadaptée par rapport au nombre de résidents potentiels. Nous y sommes allés une seule fois et heureusement, en été il n'y a pas beaucoup d'amateurs.

Un superbe appartement au calme !

Très bel appartement dans les hauteurs de Montchavin. Une belle surface avec une vue magnifique et très bien équipé. On est loin des studios cabines... Le propriétaire fait tout pour simplifier le séjour et l'arrivée. Il nous fait même bénéficier de ses bons plans. Un lieu à conseiller !

Apartment neat and perfectly located

A nice location , very convenient to ski either in "La Plagne" or "les Arcs". That give an incredible space to ski. The apartment was perfect for 6 but can easily accommodate more (especially thanks to the number of bathroom). Linen and departure cleaning included was even better !

Having visited Montchavin and Les Coches many years ago we fell in love with the area and all it has to offer, both in winter and summer. We chose our apartment as it is in a beautiful village setting, centrally located in one of the largest ski domains.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is in a great location next to the piste, close to the Montchavin chair lift and around 10 minutes walking distance to the traditional Savoyard village centre with a range of bars/restaurants and shops. Centrally located in the Paradiski area with easy access to the Vanoise Express cable car, it is a perfect base from which to explore the area.
