Second visit to the Barn and it’s as great a peaceful, private and comfortable getaway in the Winter as in the Sumer and Dani, the host, is a fantastic guy. We’ll be back for sure.
We’re always grateful when visitors share their experience at The Barn, and it’s wonderful to hear how much they enjoyed the peaceful and secluded setting knowing that they are so close to town at the same time.
We take pride in keeping The Barn quiet, private, and well‑prepared for every stay, and we’re always responsive if anything comes up. We look forward to welcoming more visitors who want a relaxing mountain retreat with beautiful views and plenty of comfort to unwind.
Everything. Host above all, fully stocked with amenities and comfortable furniture. Hot tub and deck is awesome!

The location and setting were as splendid as described. Communication was excellent. Every accommodation was well planned and thorough. I would recommend to anyone seeking this style of getaway. Hope we see bears next time!
We stayed in this VRBO for a nice couples getaway. The cabin is amazing and we'll be staying here again. It's clean, private, the views are amazing (especially in the hot tub). The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful (we arrived late so they personally made sure to leave all exterior lights on for our arrival). 10/10 stay!
We had such a nice restorative stay at The Barn this weekend. Surrounded by beautiful views and nature, we could not have asked for a better experience for our 10 year anniversary.

We hope we can host you again in the future!
Our stay at The Barn was breathtaking. The views are amazing, and the home is amazing. The only problem we had was cleanliness, we expected the home to be a bit cleaner than it was.

This was the nicest VRBO I've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, perfectly decorated and located in the most beautiful setting. It could not have been more perfect for my husband and my anniversary trip. I've already recommended The Barn to family and friends. It is also just a stones throw from Windy Gap, where I spent lots of time in the summers growing up. It was so nostalgic.
Great house and great location. Totally met our requirements and more. Great attention to detail and cleanliness. Even the little bear was welcoming :) We'll book again!

Thank you Jill! we really love when our guests get to enjoy the beauty of The Barn. We hope to have you back in the future!
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to get a break from everyday life. This place was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all the gorgeous views. The Barn was so cozy and beautifully decorated. So close to Asheville but far enough up the mountain to feel secluded. We will definitely return again and again!
This property is perfection. Close enough to downtown yet felt secluded. Owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we will most certainly be back.
