The house and property are great, very secluded and quiet. Great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. As another reviewer mentioned, the lake is shallow and not a swim all day lake, but great for kayak/canoeing. Everything seems to have been renovated lately so it is very clean and comfortable inside with lot of amenities.

This is a beautiful property and house. The building itself has clearly been fully renovated in the past few years and features a Kitchen that is exceptional and well stocked with cookware. The bathroom and shower are also amazing. The two actual bedrooms were very tidy with firmMattresses and the loft had lots of room for kids. There is a portable Air conditioning unit that appears relatively new and is good enough to take the edge off on a really hot day. Starlink provided great internet access, but phone data is not reliable. The lake is beautiful to sit near and the kayaking is good but the lake is very shallow. If you want to swim, I’d suggest taking the stand up paddle board half way out across the lake as it is much deeper in the middle and the swimming is OK there. It is not a great “swim all day” property but there are nice beaches within a short drive. We were there in early July so the provided bug hats were very useful when star viewing by the lake at night, but generally the breeze off the lake kept bugs down. The road down to the property is steep. Take the long gravel bend rather than the steep paved cut off. Get out and look at it yourself before descending the final portion. Amazing cozy stay!
