The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quite dirty however and there was some trash in the backyard and the garbage bins were overflowing.
We were at the rental for less than an hour due to it being in a very unsafe area, we had a two year old and an adult with severe autism- both who need an area that we can get out and walk around in. The area surrounding this home is unsafe and has many people wandering around that made us feel like we could not go outside the home. I spoke with the renter on the phone and explained to her that we would not be staying there, she said she would see what she could do for a refund and now she is refusing to help at all. We left within an hour of being there, went to a hotel and then rented a different property for the remainder of our stay. This property should not be listed as family friendly and needs to honestly represent the type of neighborhood it is in.
