This rental is a vacationer's dream. Located on the quiet and secluded side of Donner Lake (south side), this home offers large floor to ceiling windows in the main great room, two separate decks overlooking the lake and a large private pier for easy boating and swimming access.

Enter the property on the main great room level. An open floor plan with high vaulted ceilings offers spectacular views and is perfect for entertaining. Two large sliding glass doors lead onto a spacious deck with an outdoor dining area, a gas grill, and comfy seating. The open kitchen and breakfast bar are finished with top of the line appliances, marble countertops, and fine woodwork throughout.

The first floor is also appointed with a queen bedroom and a shared bath with beautiful stonework and a stand-up shower.

An open loft is available for an extra hang out space and is furnished with a gaming TV, bean bags, and air hockey.

Journey downstairs to the bedroom floor. Two king bedrooms are situated on the lake side, with large sliding glass doors leading to a covered deck overlooking the Donner Lake. This deck offers tall tables and chairs, perfect for playing games with the kids or simply enjoying the view out of the afternoon sun. The first bedroom is the primary suite, appointed with a king-size bed and private bath with a stand-up shower. The second bedroom facing the lake is furnished with king-size comforts. Rounding out the bedroom floor is a full bathroom, small 4th bedroom with a full over full bunk, and a full-size laundry room.

This stunning cabin is sure to wow you with her beauty-fine wood finishes, gorgeous picture windows, open floor plan, panoramic views, and a secluded and private recently renovated pier! Perfect for your next family vacation away from it all!

Please note:
-There are a lot of steps to enter the home from the parking area and also to get to the pier and water. Please be advised if there are any elderly or disabled members of your group.

There is no AC in Tahoe. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family had an excellent time staying at this beautiful property. The new pier was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect spot for sunbathing and evening sunsets. The views from the house were amazing from the two decks, and the location was perfect, close to donner memorial state park! Check-in and check-out was also very easy making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Off season bliss

The location and house were perfect. Walkable to marina and pub and also walkable to beach/picnic areas. The house sits above the lake - a beautiful view from the decks. We also enjoyed sitting out on the pier. Glad there were beach towels to use. We will be back.

Everything was as described. Kitchenware was of high quality. It amused me to see the multitude of wine openers in one kitchen drawer. The steps going into the property was challenging for me. With the kitchen above the bedrooms was problematic if I wanted to sleep late. Luckily I’m not usually a late riser. The setting was spectacular. The outside furniture made it easy to enjoy it. The upper level was fun, though the contents of the boxed games were out of the boxes and jumbled together. That was not a problem with my 3 year old granddaughter who made her own games with the various items. It was a GREAT place for me and my family to spend time together.

Beautiful home in perfect location!

This home was perfect for our family of 8. We celebrated my dads 85th birthday. The views were fantastic and it was great to have our own dock where we could go out and use our paddle boards whenever we wanted without having to drive somewhere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The couch was large enough for all of us to sit and watch a movie. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Graduation Cabin

The cabin was beautiful. Everything worked great. We stayed here for my son's graduation at UNR and we traveled back and forth between Reno and the cabin easily (45 minutes). Somewhat surprised at the buckets of snow that fell as I thought I would be sitting down at the lake having a beer in the sun🌞. Still sooo pretty. Went on a nice hike to the Donner visitors center! Hope to come back some day and enjoy snow or sun👍

Mountain getaway

Great house. Great location. Never stayed at Donner lake before but loved the slower pace and beautiful views. House was great. The stairs are an issue for anyone who is elderly or knee issues but we knew that so not an issue for us. The downstairs bedrooms did not have curtains on the sliding doors and the sun in the morning was a bit much. That’s really our only complaint. The beds we’re comfortable and the house well stocked. Take any aluminum wrap or storage containers you might need. We’ll definitely rent this house again. It was clean and comfy.

Disappointed

The view is wonderful and so is the water. I knew there were stairs but not that many. The wi-fi was spotty. I rent quite a few homes across the country and I’ve never had beds with miss matched and OLD sheets. I have never had a kitchen without storage bags or silver foil. This was a college hang out.
