About the host

Host profile image
This is our second short-term rental—our first is a lake house just outside of Panama City Beach, Florida. That little place by the water is what made us fall in love with hosting. Every time we read a review from a family saying their kids didn’t want to leave or are already begging to come back, it reminds us why we do this.

We believe life is made up of stories, and we’re honored to help families write a chapter or two of their own. This isn’t just about vacation homes—it’s about building something lasting. A legacy for our sons and their future families. A place rooted in love that we can continue to share with others, one stay at a time.

Why they chose this property

For us, Gatlinburg is more than a destination—it’s part of our story. My wife visited here as a child during road trips from Ohio to Florida, and those memories stuck with her. So when it came time for our honeymoon, Gatlinburg was the natural choice. Years later, when we started thinking about where we’d want to spend more of our time and create something special for others, this place called to us again. Choosing Gatlinburg—especially this peaceful, easy-to-access part of town—wasn’t just a decision, it felt like coming full circle. It’s our next adventure, and we’re so happy to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

What makes Rocky Top Blues unique?

This home is truly personal for us. As former travel soccer parents, we designed Rocky Top Blues with families like ours in mind—especially those heading to tournaments at Rocky Top Sports World, just minutes away. We envisioned three families coming together, with kids piled into the basement, sharing laughs, rest, and recovery between games. We've stocked the cabin with all the little comforts and essentials we wished for when we were on the road—whether it’s a weekend tournament or a much-needed break between seasons.

But it’s more than just a great location near the fields. Rocky Top Blues sits in the heart of Gatlinburg’s Arts & Crafts Community, with easy, gentle access (no steep hills or 4x4s required). You’re just a short drive from downtown, the Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, and all the charm of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

We hope you fall in love with this place the way we did. Every time we visit, it’s harder to leave.
