Sitting atop the Bret Harte Ridge overlooking the San Francisco Bay, this home is located in a great, quiet neighborhood on a country road yet close to all the attractions of Marin County. Wake up with the morning sun flooding your bedroom and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on a private deck with spectacular all-around views. Very walkable level street with custom built homes ends with a trail to Old Redwoods. Neighbors' houses are far enough that you barely notice them.
The upper level has cathedral ceilings and lots of natural light. A wraparound deck goes from the living room to the family room. The kitchen has been remodeled and features newer appliances. Enjoy beautiful views of the Bay while preparing your meals in this kitchen. Enjoy breakfast or lunch on the side deck. The lower level features 2 master suites, one with a jetted tub and the other with a shower stall. At the end of the day relax on the expansive, lower deck for drinks or stretch out to do some yoga in full privacy from your neighbors or host an outdoor party with wines from your latest trip from the nearby wine country.

About the host
Your host
I have lived in California for 36 years having moved from Denver, Colorado to start a Graduate Program in Counseling. Upon completion of the program I decided to stay and enjoy the outdoor opportunities that the Bay Area has to offer as well as the progressive, forward and creative culture. I''m retired now from my Psychotherapy practice with Kaiser Permanente for several years. I'm married and have lived with my husband, Robert in our beautiful home for the past 23 years in San Rafael. We both love and enjoy the outdoors that Marin has to offer, hiking, biking and camping. We both have family in Europe and often visit our extended family and friends as well as enjoy traveling to new and out-of-the-way places. We decided to host because we want to share the beauty and peace of Marin county with others who are seeking a serene retreat.
Why they chose this property
We choose our neighborhood because it is a quiet, peaceful and safe tight-knit community of neighbors with a feel of the country yet just minutes away from public transportation to the ferry for San Francisco or the SMART TRAIN to take you to the wine country.
What makes this property unique
Our home is sun drenched with lots of light throughout the day due to its cathedral ceilings and sliding glass doors overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The wrap around decks invite the outdoors inside for entertaining or a quiet morning or afternoon of yoga surrounded in privacy from your neighbors. This place is close to all the attractions of the Bay Area but offers a serene refuge at the end of the day to relax and restore.
