Small rustic cottage with garden

Charming wooden cottage built in 1914. One of the first houses built on the hill above the town of Stinson Beach. There are two rooms: one bedroom with a queen size bed and an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. Cozy and lovely with comfortable furniture. Single wall construction (meaning, not insulated ) with good forced air heating and a free standing fireplace in the bedroom.

Near the Bolinas Lagoon, a bird watching paradise and site of nesting herons, egrets, and harbor seal pupping site. The area is known for its natuaral beauty. The town of Stinson is very small with a grocery store, a book shop, a surf shop that rents surf boards and wetsuits, a kayak rental business, a few boutiques, a gallery, three resturaunts and a library. Please be aware there are no gas stations for ten miles, so be sure to fill up before coming over the hill.

Great Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I loved staying here. Location is perfect and just close enough to the downtown strip but far enough away to be secluded… and connects right into the trails around the area. Tess was an incredible host and made checking in and out a breeze. Would definitely recommend this spot to a small group looking for a small town coastal getaway,

Amazing little cottage walking distance to the beach. We loved the art, the garden, the hot tub and also, being so close to the Stinson beach market came in clutch when I needed some essentials that I forgot to pack. Though it is walking distance, I must mention that it can be a challenging walk uphill to the house if carrying things or have elderly or children walking.

Cute cottage which was very comfortable. Disappointed that flower boxes had dying plants. Hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. Feel janitors could have made sure there was body wash and garbage bags! Noises at night which could have been wild life.
