Escape to this fully furnished 3-bedroom home on 10 private acres in scenic Richmond, Vermont. Enjoy complete privacy along with on-site amenities like a gym and sauna. Perfect for ski getaways, remote work, or extended stays, the home offers easy access to Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton Valley, Mad River Glen, Burlington, and charming local towns.


IMPORTANT WINTER NOTES

SUV with good tires REQUIRED ; driveway is a quarter mile with an incline. Neighbor plows regularly, but snow may accumulate. Shovels, ice melt, and supplies provided. We are in snow country and it is common for a few inches to accumulate in front of our garage doors.

Small starter bundle of firewood provided indoors near the fireplace; additional wood available on-site at the wood pile. Guests may help themselves should they need more wood.

Please keep garage doors closed as much as possible to help retain heat; it is below the main floor of the home and serves as a way to keep things warm upstairs. This is an older house, and the home can be drafty in sub-zero temperatures (lots of large windows in the house). Bring warm clothing.

One garage door is broken as of winter 2026; We are working to get this fixed but due to heavy snow accumulation and sub zero temps, have had delays with repairmen. Please access garage through the locked side door to open and shut the other garage door. The MyQ keypad is not for guest use.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and our host Kristen. We needed a property that was close to Burlington, but also provided some peace and quiet after busy days moving one of our kids into UVM. The house was ideal. It’s located about 20 minutes from UVM and just outside of Richmond, VT. Richmond is a cute little community with some great local stores and restaurants that is about 5 minutes from the house. Additionally, there are multiple mountain bike and hiking paths just steps from the house as well as ski areas within a short drive. As for the house itself, it’s on a quiet property on the side of a mountain (which means you will have to be able to manage a number of stairs/steps). We loved the large open kitchen and living room that allowed us to cook and be together. But we really adored the screened-in back porch and attached patio with fire pit where we spent most of our time.Our host Kristen was wonderful. She is very communicative and had a lot of recommendations for things to do and places to go in the area. There was a problem with the heating system before we arrived and she was willing to give us back our money if they didn’t get it fixed in time (they got it fixed). Everything from pre-check-in to check-out was easy and we knew everything that we needed well ahead of time. We enjoyed the house so much we have already rented the property again. This will be our go-to place when we need to bring family to the greater Burlington area.
