Enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of a vintage cottage on a private dirt road. The Cottage on Memory Lane is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house built in 1940, as a tenant house for the neighboring farm. With beautiful original wood floors, this classical cottage has an old school charm. Recently renovated with new appliances, enjoy stepping back in time without losing your new world amenities. High speed internet is available and we are pet friendly! Temporary horse boarding available next door!
You share the gravel road with only 2 other neighbors. There are 2 porches for sitting and lots of shade from established 100 year old oak trees.
There is access to a private lake a 15 minute drive from the property. This lake has 2 beaches open to members and guests for swimming and floating. Inquire for access. Pets are not allowed on the beach areas. Canoeing and fishing are permitted.
Hiking, birding and biking are nearby in the Cumberland State Forest and Bear Creek Lake State Park.
