About this property
Ski-In/Out Condo · Chair 1&2 · Hot Tub & Sauna
Step off the lift, walk under 200 feet, and you're home. Chasing Powder is a brand-new, designer-renovated condo tucked into The Village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, literally steps from Chair 1 and Chair 2. Sink into a leather chair by the wood-burning fireplace, thaw out in the shared hot tub and sauna, and wake up under a snowy pine mural in a king bed dressed in impossibly soft linens. This is ski-in/ski-out done right, with apres-ski dining and drinks right out the back door.
ABOUT THIS SPACE
Chasing Powder sits on the second floor of the Edelweiss building in The Village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, genuinely one of the closest condos on the mountain to both Chair 1 and Chair 2.
Walk in and you'll notice this isn't your average ski condo. A local designer reimagined every inch with a custom ski-lodge theme: a repurposed red chairlift bench doubles as dining seating, a hand-painted mountain mural wraps the kitchen wall, and a snowy pine forest mural frames the king bed.
The open-concept living area centers on a real wood-burning fireplace, the kind you want to sit in front of after a day of carving groomers. The gray sectional is dressed with a faux-fur throw, there's a mounted 55-inch HDTV with Roku, and the sliding door opens onto a private balcony with mountain views.
The kitchen is fully loaded: Samsung stainless appliances, a dishwasher, a gas range, a waterfall-edge island seating four, and a dedicated coffee bar stocked with a drip maker, French press, and Keurig, plus grounds, pods, creamer, and sugar so your first morning doesn't require a grocery run.
The single bedroom is a retreat, a plush king bed beneath copper pinecone pendant lights, room-darkening shades, and a wall-mounted TV. A sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more, for four guests total.
The spa-style bathroom has a walk-in glass shower, backlit mirror, double vanity, and fully stocked toiletries. In-room ski and snowboard grabbers keep gear off the floor, and the furnishings are genuinely brand new, down to the linens, cookware, and coffee station.
WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
Ski and snowboard couples or small groups who want to walk to the lift instead of driving every morning, you can be on the chair before your coffee's even cold.
Families of up to four who want one bedroom for the adults and a sofa bed for the kids, plus a kitchen stocked enough to skip a few restaurant nights.
Apres-ski lovers who want dining, drinks, and Village energy right outside, no driving required once you're back from the mountain.
Summer visitors chasing Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, and mountain biking who still want a comfortable home base with a hot tub to soak in at day's end.
Not the best fit for groups over four guests or anyone needing single-level accessibility, this is a second-floor condo reached by a shared building entrance.
THINGS MOM NEEDS TO KNOW:
Step outside, turn left, and you're at Chairs 1 and 2; you can actually see Chair 1 from the balcony. Boot warmers and ski and snowboard racks mean the kids' gear is dry and ready every morning, so there's no arguing over soggy boots. Ski school, the Kids Center and the rental shop are a short walk, which makes drop-off painless. There's a wood-burning fireplace for after ski (bring your own firewood), plus a community hot tub and sauna downstairs. It sleeps 4 and is up one flight of stairs. Hang the parking pass from your mirror and you won't have to think about it again.
PARKING
Free parking is available on premises, so you won't need to hunt for a spot after a day on the mountain. A paid parking option is also available on premises for groups needing additional space. The condo sits on the second floor of a shared building, so you'll park in the lot and walk a short distance to the entrance, just steps from Chair 1 and Chair 2.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is before 10:00 AM, self-service, so plan your arrival and departure around those windows.

Even with the ski hill resort property undergoing construction we easily could get into ourThe room is so adorably decorated and totally perfect for a ski lodge. We slept well and loved our stay.
We felt so at home and welcomed! The condo is very stylish, clean, comfortable and inviting. There are multiple subtle and thoughtful details showing Bill cares about his guests having a wonderful experience. The guides he provided at booking helped us decide where to spend our time while in Whitefish and the surrounding area. The location is beautiful right next to the ski lift. It was nice to have the peace and quite of the mountains each morning and evening with a short drive to town. We hope to visit again!
We had such a great stay! The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, and was beautifully updated with wonderful amenities. The furnishings were so cool; from the faux fur blankets and woodgrain tables in the living room, to the unique pinecone lights in the bedroom. And the coffee set-up was delightful and such a welcome perk (no pun intended). Although a short distance from fabulous downtown Whitefish, we thoroughly enjoyed the drive up & down the mountain each day, being up in the trees and clouds, and definitely enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the building.
10/10. This one bedroom condo was perfect for our stay in Whitefish, Montana. The pictures you see in the listing are exactly what you see when you walk in the door. (I forgot to take my own pictures of the condo). We were there just before the summer season opened fully, so the ski lift to the top of the mountain was only open on the weekend. We took the trip to the top (you can see the lift from the condo balcony) and there was still snow on the ground at the beginning of June. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen to make all of our meals. And the living area and bedroom were spacious and comfortable. There is construction going on next door, but we didn't hear them. There are blackout shades which were extremely useful for us since we are from Florida and aren't used to it being light outside so early/ late in the day. I think we had neighbors, but we never heard them beyond a door opening/closing. My husband enjoyed the hot tub (in the same building as the condo) and the laundry facilities are a short walk to the end of the building. It's a short, beautiful drive down to the town of Whitefish. There are some great places to eat downtown and a couple of grocery stores for anything you need. I highly recommend breakfast and pie at LouLa's if you get the chance...and try something Huckleberry. Bill and his family were excellent hosts. They responded quickly with any questions I had. I would definitely stay at this condo again!
