Glad you enjoyed our "peaceful" Garden of Eden & hope you will consider us for any future visits to the area. Stay Safe & Happy Trails
Just what we were looking for to be secluded, away from all the tourist attractions and traffic. A bit rustic entering the property but once arrived you hear the creek.Being right on the creek was the greatest and having all of our meals on the balcony listening the roaring water. Not your typical cabin you find in the Smokeys however everything you need and clean.Would love to go back again!
This is a really cute place! It was very clean and you can hear that stream out back. The biggest thing that made a difference to me was there was only about 30 minutes of sunshine on the back porch. It was a little gloomy. The stream was absolutely breathtaking. I was able to walk down to the creek and sit on a rock and relax. It was pretty chilly. Will I stay here again, probably not. I enjoy the sunshine to much.
Met the owner at check-in, he was very knowledgeable concerning the area and hikes we would enjoy. The cabin was very clean and met all of our expectations. Though the cabin is very close to the owner’s residence, because of the trees around us it felt very secluded. The creek running next to the cabin provided a great place to relax, where outdoor sitting and a hammock were provided. The view was gorgeous and the drive from the main road to the cabin provides a winding drive to the property which is beautiful.

Great guest we love to host who share what is going on & hope to have again, maybe in our other 2 BR Lullaby Waterfall Cabin!
Chris was at the cabin to greet us when we arrived. He spent time telling us about the area and we really enjoyed talking with him. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped so that we were able to cook all of our meals. The cabin is simple inside but it’s a beautiful hideaway in the woods with a lovely creek below the cabin. If you open the bedroom window, the sound of the water will lull you to sleep. We highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to get away to a quiet secluded spot off the beaten track.
This property was not even close to pictures on VRBO and was in state of disrepair with broken drawers, oven knobs were worn you cannot tell temp and door on it broken The property grounds were terrible to navigate due to poor signage plus roads not graded. There was a broken TV on porch and the so-called gallery was a dump site.Communication was to a voicemail box of the dead owner that was full which made us question if this place was deserted and the so-called called caretaker just moved in. There was no email or direct communication so had to wait for call back. The interior furniture was okay but nothing showed any investment. Due to outside parking being very rocky and a bathroom with high tub this would not be good for handicapped or person with physical limitations. Lastly the hiking trailPictured is not on this property. We left a day early as only thing nice was outdoor patio listening to river.VRBO should remove from offering as misrepresentation.

Had problems from the start; We give concise instructions as to how to navigate the private road to the cabins. Having hosting thousands of folks with Vrbo ; we; Garden of Eden Cabins, now, 35 years, have, a private road, which is gravel, maintaining the naturel grade of the property which is about 3% and it is NOT grade, Speed 5 miles per hr & is about 1/3rd a mile around.. so slow down. We have a oven thermometer. The only way to communicate when you book through Vrbo is through there platform & have no access to direct email. We can always be contacted through phone call (Not Text) Landline & yes you do have to wait for us to get back with you. Am sadden that with all that is to be enjoyed you where distracted, We are not a resort & do not have the bells and whistles and we feel our pricing reflects what we do have. As Abe would say; You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." Thanks for & Happy Trails!
Pictures and description very accurate! Wonderful secluded cabin perched 100 feet above mountain creek…. The sound of the creek was so soothing and a perfect way to fall asleep! Forget the Gatlinburg crowds and get back to enjoying nature and mountain beauty!
We enjoyed our stay! Chris was the best host. He is right next door but it was still very private, surrounded by very natural & untouched forest.
Definitely a good choice if you love nature!
Overall, this was a nice little getaway. Far enough from the crowds of Gatlinburg, but still plenty to do if you wish. Going creeking was a great time! Possible bear sightings! Peaceful! Low key house rules, beautiful setting, and friendly owner were also pros. Cons: use your unlimited data; the wifi errors out every time, oven temp is guesswork, limited stove burners. Overall, a quite enjoyable stay!
Roads are a little scary into the place.but hello waterfalls and creek right outside your cabin and a porch we hardly left.chris was so patient with all my questions and visting 9 grandchildren.you have a full.kitchen to cook so why leave the cabin lol
Property has backwoods feel but is right of the main road. 25 min to gatlinburg 35 to pigeon forge. Even though it was further then we wanted from those areas the rate difference was well worth it. Just an FYI this cabin is within arms reach of the owners personal home (literally), but he was no bother and we barely seen him or anyone else at the property so we did feel secluded. The home definitely needs some updates, we struggled with some of the space heaters and the window unit to the guest room was not working. After tinkering and moving some space heaters around we were able to keep the cabin warm. We were honestly here to eat and sleep we spent all if our free time in gatlinburg etc, but when we were here it felt cozy and safe. Creek view and sound was awesome. Overall nice stay.
When we got there it was rough getting to our cabin. Over grown weeds frees, bushes and broken down car and trucks . Trash from the automobiles was all over. The cabin was outdated. The owner lived right next door to our cabin in a run down mobile home. The inside was ok. I have to say it was a comfortable place. But all honesty, it needs alot of work on the property. All the cabins need redone. We not be staying there again the gentleman in charge was nice. But he is old and can't do alot of things on the property. It needs cleaned up.

Creekside Cottage review
This cabin was cozy and quiet. The forest surrounding it is pretty and we enjoyed the sound of the creek right outside. The driveway is quite narrow so it would be difficult for wide vehicles to maneuver. The location was within 30 minutes of all our planned activities. Be sure to check with the owner for key pick-up/drop off instructions as the cabin next door with the Garden of Eden sign is not the office.
Cottage is in beautiful area. Creek side Cottage was nice, but when I stay next time I would prefer Lullaby. Lullaby is tastefully decorated and has a sweet backyard. It is extremely clean.
We had a quiet, restful stay and enjoyed exploring a different part of the Smokeys. The view and sound of the creek from the back porch surrounded by laurel and the occasional glimpse of a hawk was a highlight.
