Beautiful stucco Craftsman 2 story home on a DEEP water cove with a large 2 level dock. Unbelievable panoramic lake views from both levels. Master suite down and huge loft living area with secondary and third bedroom/bath upstairs. Come and Enjoy the best spot on Lake Travis.

Bring the family, tie up your boat, and spend your days on the lake only steps away from the home.

LOCATION--This home is located in Lago Vista, which is surrounded by beautiful Texas Hill Country, 40 miles from Austin's downtown 6th Street, 50 miles from the F1 Race Track, and 45 miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. You will be close to Hill Country wine tasting or hiking as well as close enough to enjoy many activities in Austin.

SETTING--This home has a very private, quiet and scenic setting located on the North Shore of Lake Travis. The decks look out from our large cove into the main lake towards Hudson's Bend and Emerald Point. Watching the sunrise from any room in the house is breathtaking!

WATERFRONT--Located directly on deep water Lake Travis, our waterfront retreat is a great location for all types of water sports. Steps lead directly from the house down to the private boat dock. Bring your boat or personal watercraft, launch it at the private ramp right next to the property and tie up at the dock for your stay. The boat launch does go dry once water levels are below 665 ft. above MSL but the dock never does. Arkansas Bend Park is 5 min up the road and also has a very nice launch area.

BOAT DOCK--The covered aluminum boat dock is 25' by 30' with an 8' by 30' upper level sun deck. Located in 90 feet of water so it never goes dry.

A neighborhood boat launch is available for use a the end of Beach Road but does go dry once water levels are below 665 ft. above MSL. Arkansas Bend Park is 5 min up the road and also has a very nice launch area when lake levels allow.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Trash must be taken to the dumpster at the entrance to the North Shore Colony. The key is located in the entry of the house.
Please leave the main ceiling fan on on medium speed but turn off all other lights.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not use neighbors docks.
Take ALL trash to the dumpster, located on Patty Dr by the North Shore arch. Key for dumpster is hanging in the entry way on a yellow key chain.

Perfect!

I just spent a week here with my family, and it was perfect for us! My kids are 11, 8, and 8, and they loved jumping off the deck and swimming in the cove. The house was well stocked, clean, and just perfect for us! It was located just right that we were able to watch both sunsets and sunrises. It was also super close to two boat rental places which we took full advantage of during the week. I would stay here again if possible!

The best lake house

What an amazing house, it really made our special trip so wonderful. The location on the lake, the size of the house, the amenities it has are all fantastic. We were celebrating two big birthdays and wanted a place for us to all relax and spend some quality time together, this place couldnt have been any better for us. The decks are wonderful, the views are amazing and to have your own dock on the water to relax, swim and have fun was brilliant. I couldnt recommend this place enough, it really is great for our needs. Thank you so so much.

We couldn’t have asked for a better lake vacation! From the very beginning, Andrea, our host, was amazing, friendly, quick to respond, and made everything effortless, even when we decided to extend our stay an extra night.The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout was perfect for families, with plenty of space to relax after a day of fun on the water.But the real showstopper was the private boat dock with its incredible two-story design and diving platform! We spent endless hours jumping from the top deck, lounging on the floating pad, and soaking up the peaceful views. The kids loved taking the canoe out for a ride around the cove, and we never had to worry because the water was nice and deep at the dock perfect for swimming and playing.From mornings sipping coffee on the deck to evenings watching the sunset over the lake, every moment felt magical. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect, and have some serious fun on the water, this property checks every box. We’re already planning our next visit!

Nice and Clean Lake House

We had a great stay. The house was very clean house fully stocked with all kitchen essentials, hand and dish soaps and paper products. Boat dock on the lake is beautiful, but challenging to get to. Very steep concrete stairs leading down to it but lots of fun once you get there. 2 paddle boards (decent shape) and a canoe (good shape) were available. Communication with the host Andrea was awesome. She was super responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

i want to live here

house was perfect for us. not far from a nice gas station and liquor store. dock is awesome but getting down from the house to the dock is a bit treacherous and steep due to the landscape. if you have any mobility issues or small children this is not a place for you. breath taking views and adorable/quiet neighborhood. clean grill and outdoor patio area.

Perfect family summer wind down

Host was very responsive to questions. Great communication. Kitchen & grill were equipped with all amenities. Surprised to find Lily Pad and 2 SUPs in addition to listed kayak. Quiet deep cove. Amazing views. Of note, stairs and ramp leading to dock are a little steep. It was fine for myself and college age kids as we are all reasonably fit. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! It was a fantastic getaway from the city!!

Great house in secluded area

House and layout were perfect for our family of 4. My adult son was uncomfortable on mattress in double room, so may be better suited for children. We were there (May 2024) when water was very low. There was plenty of water in the deep cove for any activities, but be aware the stairs down to water level are very steep with no handrails (appx 30 stairs). As water levels (and dock) rise, this would not be an issue.

Quaint, quirky, and absolutely perfect!

This house is so cute with a treehouse vibe. It’s small but they made the best use of the space and our family of 5 enjoyed being close. The hosts are extremely generous with letting guests use their dock, canoe, lily pad, 2 SUP’s and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need! Property was very clean and well-maintained. The cove is peaceful and perfect! However, I would not feel comfortable renting here with younger children or elderly. The climb down to the dock is extremely steep with no handrails. There is a sharp drop off with no barrier on the yard under the house or the parking area. We really loved our stay and just pray no one gets hurt at this amazing property!

Nice view and comfortable home

The house itself was wonderful! Very modern and cozy. The lake level was down a lot so no using boat ramp next to house. We had to travel over an hour for closest ramp which is in no way a reflection of property. Just information for future renters looking for property with boat ramp nearby. With water level so low … the hike from house to boat dock is very strenuous. And steep. In total it is roughly 100 steps up a steep incline. I would not recommend to someone elderly or with small children. The property owner is very quick to reply to any messages or issues. And was very empathetic about boat ramp issue. Also currently, June 2024, construction is going on next door so it is loud and construction vehicles have been blocking the road coming and going from house. All in all, we had a good time, but will check out water levels and other criteria in any future stays.

Fantastic.

We’ve been here 2 summers in a row. It’s a great quick family getaway, kids never want to go home. I really wish it was more affordable though, but it is a great place!
