☀ Here are a few kind words from our past guests:

“Excellent stay! Home was very well decorated and apportioned. The kids stayed in the garage (the clubhouse as they called it). We went as a family of four, but the house could have supported a second family. We enjoyed the hot tub and all of the little touches that made Smriti and Anu’s place a true home away from home. Make sure to check out the nearby Green Valley Book Fair and Buc-Eee’s! We will definitely be looking to book again for another mountain retreat.”

“Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Smriti’s home. The property was as described and very easy to access and find. It’s located in a private neighborhood but still very close to the resort amenities. Our daughter loved the game room/playroom in the garage. The spacious yard was a plus, and the fire pit area is huge and welcoming. The hot tub was unfortunately out of order during our stay, but otherwise everything was perfect. We would stay again! Thank you for a relaxing stay.”

“This was our first stay with a welcome basket—it felt like a true home. Great for three families with young kids. All 3 bedrooms were upstairs, which was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The house is spacious, kids-friendly with mostly carpet and no sharp edges. Plus, there’s an extra room on the first floor (the garage) used as a playroom, perfect for kids to play and sleep. The backyard is perfect too!”

About the host

Host profile image
We’re Smriti and Anu, sisters and owners of Bodhi Branch LLC. Smriti, in Virginia, loves hiking, camping, and singing. Anu, in Texas, enjoys travel, reading, and decorating. Together, we’ve created a space designed for comfort, relaxation, and fun. We’re passionate about hospitality and love making our guests feel at home. From cozy touches to local recommendations, we aim to make every stay special. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of peaceful mountain living and easy access to adventure. Tucked into a quiet, family-friendly part of Massanutten Resort, the area feels like a true retreat—surrounded by trees, fresh air, and wildlife, yet just minutes from all the fun: the waterpark, ski slopes, hiking trails, and golf course.

What we enjoy most is how relaxing and safe it feels here. Kids can play in the yard while adults unwind on the deck or around the firepit. We love hearing the birds in the morning, spotting deer at dusk, and stepping outside to clear mountain views. It’s a place where you can slow down, reconnect, and still have every convenience nearby.

What makes this property unique

What makes our property truly unique is the **rare, large flat backyard**—a real gem in this mountain resort area where most homes are on steep or uneven terrain. It’s the perfect space for kids to run around, play games, or roast marshmallows by the firepit while the adults relax in the hot tub or fire up the grill.

This outdoor space makes the home especially family-friendly and ideal for spending quality time together—whether you’re hosting a cookout, stargazing, or just letting little ones burn off energy.

Combined with our cozy, newly furnished interior and unbeatable location just 5 minutes from Massanutten Resort’s top attractions, this home offers the best of both indoor comfort and outdoor fun—something that truly sets it apart.
