BartlesVILLA - Your Private Downtown Guesthouse

Hi! My name is Russ, and I’m a hometown kid—born and raised right here in Bartlesville. I still live and work in the community I love, and hosting has become a fun way for me to share a little piece of it with others.

I built BartlesVILLA in 2024 with travelers in mind and tried to create the kind of place I’d want to find when I’m away from home: clean, comfortable, private and with a little personality.

I live right next door, so I’m close by if you need anything, but I’m equally happy to leave you completely alone to enjoy your stay. And if the weather is nice and you happen to find me on the front porch with a glass of wine, you’re always welcome to say hello!

I’ve always loved this part of Bartlesville. Cherokee Avenue is lined with beautiful historic homes, many built during the city’s early oil-boom years by the people who helped shape this community. There’s something special about living among these grand old homes and being surrounded by so much of Bartlesville’s history.

The Frank Phillips Home is right around the corner, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Price Tower, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and entertainment are all within an easy walk. You can park your car and explore much of historic downtown on foot.

When we decided to build BartlesVILLA in 2024, we were intentional about creating something that felt like it belonged here—not just in design, but in spirit. We wanted a modern, comfortable guesthouse that complemented the historic neighborhood around it.

There’s something pretty wonderful about sitting on the front porch in the evening, looking down a street filled with nearly a century of Bartlesville history, while still being close enough to walk downtown for dinner or coffee.

This isn’t just a house or a street to me—it’s a little piece of Oklahoma history, and I’m grateful to share a part of it with others.

BartlesVILLA was newly built in 2024, but we designed it to feel like it has always belonged in this historic neighborhood. It combines the character and location of one of Bartlesville’s most beautiful older neighborhoods with a completely modern, private guest space.

Although it’s a studio, guests are often surprised by how spacious it feels. You’ll have a plush queen bed, comfortable living area with sleeper sofa, full private bathroom, washer and dryer, and a well-equipped kitchenette with plenty of counter space, dishwasher, hot plate, coffee maker, refrigerator, and a microwave that also functions as a convection oven and air fryer.

We tried to think about the little things that make traveling easier: quality linens, comfortable furnishings, plenty of towels, cookware and dishes, Smart TV with complimentary YouTube TV, dedicated parking, and easy self check-in with your own personalized door code.

And then there’s the location. You get the privacy of your own guesthouse while being only a few blocks from historic downtown Bartlesville, Price Tower, the Frank Phillips Home, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping.

It’s private, modern, comfortable and right in the middle of one of the most historic parts of town.
