Grandma's Cottage, Free Off-Street Parking, and Library
This cozy home is very close to my heart—Grandma Lizzie and her family lived here for over 40 years, and I’ve been upgrading and updating it little by little with lots of love and care. It’s not a brand-new, shiny place, but it’s bursting with character, charm, and the warm Southern hospitality Savannah is famous for. We like to think Grandma Lizzie still watches over the house and all the guests who come and go. The space You’re just a stone’s throw from the lively Starland Yard District, beautiful Forsyth and Daffin Parks, and the SCAD Foundation Studies building. Need your caffeine fix? PERC Roasters coffee house is just 0.25 miles away and open daily from 7am–5pm—perfect for early risers or those afternoon pick-me-ups.
One of the home’s best features is the classic Savannah front porch, inviting you to lounge with your Savannah Artillery Punch (or other beverage of choice, alcoholic or not) and soak in the slow, sweet Southern vibes.
The house offers free parking, a cozy library corner, and three different sleeping arrangements to fit your crew. If you’re looking for a spot with heart, history, and a comfy vibe—not a brand-new hotel—this is the place for you!
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom 3 Beds: 1 Queen, 1 Double, and 1 Large Wrap Around Couch Extra Back Den also available
We now have new windows, Central A/C Heat, updated Electric and Plumbing, installed Smart TV, painted the rooms and installed updated appliances. We also have high-speed Wifi.
Guest access: Entire Home except for one small Storage Room, which is locked.
Other things to note: This is a charming, older home with personality—think “vintage soul,” not “HGTV showroom.” If you're expecting marble countertops, whisper-quiet floors, and doors that glide like butter... this might not be your fairytale castle.
Yes, the floors creak. Yes, some doors need a little hip-check to close. No, it’s not a freshly built resort. But everything works, and we take pride in keeping it cozy, clean, and fully functional.
If you're a Karen in search of perfection, we kindly ask: maybe skip this one. But if you're cool with a bit of character and charm, you're in the right place.
It was built in the 1940's and I am trying to preserve it's vintage status as much as possible.
