Key West is home to this houseboat. Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum and Southernmost Point are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Florida Keys Beaches and Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden and Sails To Rails Museum at Flagler Station are also worth visiting.
First off—I’m not great about leaving reviews, so when I do, it’s because something really stood out. This place was phenomenal. I could go on about how relaxing it is to be rocked to sleep on the water, or how perfect it is to sit under the stars on the roof with a beer—but I’ll stick to a few highlights.1. Location: The balance was perfect. Close enough to quickly drive into Key West, but far enough away to escape the crowds and unwind.2. Amenities: The marina/hotel it’s connected to is fantastic. The pools and poolside bar service were a huge bonus. The ocean is great, of course—but having pools with perfect water temps and plenty of lounge space made it incredibly easy to relax with the family.3. Space: The layout worked surprisingly well. Even with a family of four and two teens, we never felt cramped. The bathroom was well designed, and the overall setup was comfortable and practical.I’d stay again in a heartbeat. It’s such a unique and enjoyable way to experience the Keys.

Property was absolutely beautiful. Check in process was not so good.1 key was where it was suppose to be.2 Should have been a welcome packet of some sort. Did not know how to turn on lights or tv. Took us awhile to turn on lights finally figured out they were operated on one of the three remotes. Still do not know what the third remote was for.3 property description said washer and dryer but did not know where it was located. Josh responded quickly that it was in a separate building and there was a card in the drawer to pay for wash. Hot water in shower lasted a minute per usage.4.we had an ant issueWe ended up having great time.Recommendation: Welcome packet with instructions and locations of amenities.Handrail on the outside entrance to the boat steps. Pretty far step when tide is out or some sort of ramp.Took a while to get tv going there was a couple different options to choose. Specify in welcome pack would be very helpful.Upstairs deck only had one back pillow for couch looks like there should have been 2 or 3 however very windy everyday not sure if they were there at one time or not. We were unable to utilize deck due to weather first couple of days.Would have been nice to receive a text or something just checking that everything was going ok.All in all good trip

First the good. It is a relatively new place and everything looks just like it does in the pictures. The upper deck was enjoyable in the morning and evenings. Everything was clean and well kept. Now for the bad1. The slip numbers are not visible by driving by you need to get out a walk up to the power box to find the slip numbers. No sign on the property to tell you that you are there. 2. The steps into the boat are very steep and narrow and there is no light at night to illuminate the steps. At high tide there is approximately a 1.5 to 2 foot gap between the road and the first step. 3. The fancy shower head that is pictured in the bathroom is just for looks. This place has at best a 4 to 5 gallon hot water heater and if you turn on all those sprayers you will run out of hot water in about 2 minutes. We had to barley turn it on and shower quickly and we could make it last maybe 5 to 6 minutes. 4. The motion sensor light in the bathroom will go off on you while in the shower so be sure to turn the light on on the mirror or you will be taking your cold shower in the dark as well. 5. There is no iron, ironing board, steamer or hangers for your clothes. Also no hairdryer. 6.The house is located near the navy airport and the planes start flying and dawn so if you like to sleep in you might want to look elsewhere. I can't speak to the hotel amenities because we didn't use them.
