Cabin Access & Roads

While a regular car can access the property, an all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The last quarter mile of the drive is a gravel road and conditions vary throughout the year based on inclement weather (rain or snow).

Local Wildlife

The cabin is in a wooded natural setting, so guests may see deer, turkeys, raccoons, insects, and other native wildlife. We treat and maintain the property regularly, but occasional bugs and wildlife are part of the Red River Gorge experience.
