Welcome to our enchanting lakeside cabin in Dent. This cozy modern retreat features one bedroom plus a large sleeping loft with a pair of bunk beds. Also features a two person hot tub and the location is just a few steps from the dock for you to enjoy the water. Nestled in the peaceful Firefly Community, this cabin is the perfect escape for couples and families looking to relax and recharge.

This cabin is a quiet community that does not allow loud parties gatherings. Quiet hours are between at 9pm and 9am.
There are two parking spaces next to the cabin. Additional vehicles must use the guest parking spots. Boat trailers must be the trailer parking area.

We enjoyed our time at this cabin! The hosts were extremely accommodating as we had an appointment pop up unexpectedly, and allowed us to adjust our stay with a partial refund. We enjoyed using the hot tub and that we were able to bring our dog! We will be back!

Mike is the cabin host and he handles the property maintenance. He takes “lake breaks” from being a Real Estate Appraiser as often as possible. Mike loves swimming in the lake with the kids and sleeping with the windows open when the crickets are singing.

Li cleans and prepares the cabin before each guest arrives. As a Kindergarten Paraprofessional during the school year, she treasures her summer time at the lake! Her favorite things about the cabin are the hot tub and taking sunset boat cruises.

Why they chose this property

We came across the Firefly Community as it was being constructed in 2021 and we were fortunate enough to build this tiny cabin from the ground up! Only three of the sixteen cabins at Firefly are rentals. The others are all summer and vacation homes for families from Utah, Arizona, North Dakota and other Widwestern states!

What makes this property unique

This property is very unique. It was once called White Have Resort and dates back to the early 1900's. In 2020, the old dilapidated cabins were demolished, Those along the shoreline could be built back new, but had to match the original cabin's small footprints. The cabins along the back row are all new and are similar on the exterior, but have a variety of interior floorplans.
