house was great! the only hiccup was the door code we were given didn’t work and they provided us a new one. Also outside the bedrooms there is a very bright street lamp and the rooms stay very bright when trying to sleep so we recommend bringing eye masks! Other than that great experience and we would for sure come again!

Cute little place to stay for two nights with a family of 6! Check in was Rocky with the code not working but they were very helpful easy to get a hold of and they sent us a complimentary movie package to apologize for the inconvenience but overall the house was cute nice and was stocked with all the things you need.. towels soap shampoo, paper towels, hand soap, the necessities. Hot tub was nice and the house was VERY clean!!! Beds are small, they are just a full, only thing that could be upgraded. We would definitely book again if we would come back! Thank you so much for being great hosts! Definitely enjoyed our stay..

Comforting stay that felt just like home!

I wanted to do something fun for my son's spring break, so I rented this house for the weekend to explore Hocking Hills for our first time. I just loved this house. I loved how it was decorated and well maintained. It was so clean and everything was so nice. The amenities were great as well. Needless to say, we will be coming back.

Shorty's Place is a great little house, just what we needed for our family of 4 on a 2 night stay in Hocking Hills! We loved the hot tub and how the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. No dishwasher, but that wasn't a big deal. The pullout couch bed was very comfy for my older son and we were thankful for the abundance of bath towels! Overall the house was nicely clean and had all the supplies needed for our stay. The host was very responsive, especially when the door code didn't work and they gave us a new one. *Write down or screenshot the door code and the wifi password when you get it because there is NO service as soon as you get close.*The internet was very good, it never once went out on us!There aren't any fans in the house, but the AC was excellent which was very helpful in the upper 80 heat!Overall a great little house for the trip, and easily close to the hiking.

Our stay was wonderful! Check in was easy, the house was very clean, and having the hot tub after a day of hiking was fantastic. Be advised that at the time of writing this if you have Verizon you will have no cell phone service here, highly recommend that you screen shot and save any information you need to get to the house, into the house, and the Wi-Fi information — thankfully I did so we had no issues. The house is not very big, but it has the amenities needed for your stay!
