It was an absolute pleasure to have these guest at our property. They were respectful of the property, clean, and good communicators. It was gratifying to know they enjoyed the experience of everything the property offered including the decor with the Spanish culture.
We loved our first visit so much, I booked again for my husband's birthday weekend! The back porch overlooks the bluff with autumn colors as far as the ete can see.

Everything about this home with a bluff-view, cozy screened porch/balcony, modern kitchen, hot tub, wifi, etc was top-notch. We loved it so much, we booked our next stay before we ended this one!

“It was such a pleasure hosting with this guest. They were so easy to communicate with and I truly appreciated how thoughtful and respectful they were throughout their stay. I’d gladly welcome them back anytime!
The Property was in excellent condition and the amenities and appearance was as advertised. The Host was very responsive and helpful to all of my inquiries and questions. It was overall and excellent experience. I was very disappointed in that I left a very nice liquor Caddy by mistake at the Property. This was given as a Christmas Gift from my wife and it was accidentally left. I contacted the Host as soon as we arrived home, the same day. She said the cleaning crew did not see it. The Caddy was loaded with an unopened Bottle of wine and 3 additional Bottles of Liquor. I questioned all of our party and no one picked it up by mistake. The cleaning crew was the only people that entered the House after we left. The Owner told me they would invest he situation, however I have not gotten any word on this situation yet. We very much enjoys stay, but the situation with my Bag is very disappointing.
It was a very nice place to stay for relaxation and easy to get to nice parks to hike. The views were beautiful.

About the host
Hosted by Monica Castle
I am from North Alabama, but my husband is from Grant, Alabama and Quito,Ecuador. We have traveled to Ecuador many times to visit his family which has been a rewarding experience for us and our children. However, Grant is our cherished home, and my husband is a 3rd generation owner of this land. We hope you enjoy the Andean artwork displayed, the peaceful nature that surrounds, an occasional donkey’s bray, and the cliffside view at this retreat while creating memories with your loved ones.
Why they chose this property
The land is private and scenic. In fact, we have created nature trails that lead to a waterfall and an old wagon trail. It’s like living on your own state park. Grant is such a friendly place where the locals will wave at anyone who drives past them. Also, it’s easy to get to Huntsville at this location, but is not far from City Harbor in Guntersville. Best of both worlds!
What makes this property unique
The property is nestled in the woods at a scenic cliff and has access to trails that meander through the woods down to unique small caves and massive rock formations. Fish in our spring fed pond from a nice dock. Additionally, there is a field next to the property that is a cattle farm with a donkey. We also have a place for someone to plug in an RV/camper for electricity and for water hook up.
