Relax and enjoy a real local experience in this 2 story spacious, 2400 sq. ft. single family 3 bedroom home which is perfectly located on a corner lot with a 2 car garage with extra one car parking on apron. Custom home throughout with all the amenities. There are hundreds of dining and entertainment opportunities all within walking distance. The beach is a perfect swimming spot void of dangerous rip tides and a gentle swell perfect for beginning surfers or bogie boarders or just to frolic in. Newport Beach keeps the beaches and peninsula spotless. This is not a spot where you come to be secluded. This is a place that you can enjoy all the attractions of the beach area with a boardwalk full of friendly people from all over the world.
Staying at our home you will have easy access to many of the southern California places of enjoyment. Disney land is 15 minutes away, Fashion Island (one of the most upscale shopping malls in the country) 8 minutes away. The Balboa Peninsula fun zone - 1 mile, Laguna Beach (lots of art and culture) 12 miles, the southern California mountains 1 ½ hours away. Newport harbor (lots of water sports) and if want to see some of the nicest homes and yachts, rent a duffy boat, tour the harbor, and go to dinner to the many restaurants accessible by boat.

Oceanfront Dream

I selfishly want to keep this one a secret but I promised to leave a review. All joking aside, this home really felt like home. After a month we did not want to leave. I would rate it 11/10. Decked out with state of the art AV and appliances, incredible ocean views and people watching, very clean and beautifully decorated. Can't say enough about how much we loved it here and the hosts were exceptional. Thank you so much Erick and Holly for sharing your home. I am checking my calendar to figure out when we can come back.

Fantastic Vacation

This property is beautiful. The moment my wife and I walked through the front door we were breathless. Being steps away from the sand was the icing on the cake. Erick and Holly were both very accommodating and were quick to respond if we needed anything at all. I would highly recommend this property if you want to completely unwind and enjoy a 5 star experience on the beach. We look forward to booking again soon!

This house is a serene search for simplicity.

This house is a serene search for simplicity. Staying here goes beyond the boundaries of ordinary living with incredibly beautiful views of the ocean, open sky and natural landscape. Not only is it equipped with a fire pit overlooking the sand, but the sliding glass doors allow you to have a constant view of the ocean waves with or without the breeze. The evenings were cool so we enjoyed the heat of the gas fireplace watching scary movies inside. After sun and sand-filled days we would lay on the couch, or fall horizontal in the massage chair and catch up on anything and everything binge-worthy, while still being able to people watch. With 3 bedrooms, all the kids and their friends fit comfortably accompanied by our two dogs as well. We spent a good portion of our trip dining outside, enjoying the view and having drinks all within a few block walking distance. The 27th street location took our quick getaway to an unparalleled level, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The best oceanfront property in Newport

We stayed for the month of August 2018 and couldn't have been happier with the home and location. Erick and Holly were easy to contact and the property was very clean and well-maintained. If you want to be close to the ocean, this is the place for you. The open concept allows for ocean views throughout the main floor and master bedroom. For eating, restaurants as a short walk up the boardwalk, or stay at the home and enjoy the view while cooking in a kitchen that boasts top end appliances or the gas BBQ outside. They have large TVs throughout the home but we found ourselves most nights watching the sunset next to the gas fire pit on the porch. If this home fits your budget, book it! You won't be disappointed.

Great family time in Newport

What a great home! We spent the month of August there and had family and friends joins us and we had a fabulous time. We made many memories playing in the sand and water and just enjoying ourselves in this beautifully remolded home. The kitchen is a chefs kitchen and the bedrooms have plenty of closet and dresser space. If you are looking for the place to be in Newport Beach, then this is it.

Exceptional Experience Ocean Front Newport Beach

This is a beautiful, comfortable beach front home. The views are gorgeous. The patio sits directly on the boardwalk, which is utilized by walkers, joggers and bicyclists. I wasn't sure if I wanted the 'traffic' but it turned out to be great. There are periods of the day when it can get a bit crowded but it was also so much fun to interact. If you want a more isolated ocean front experience, the master bedroom balcony met that need perfectly. There are so many wonderful things to say about this house and the owners, that the only way I can convey my enthusiasm is to note that I intend to return on an annual basis. I generally don't like to repeat my vacation experiences, but this is one to return to again and again. Thank you so much Erick and Holly!

Panoramic Ocean Views from this Luxurious Home are Amazing!!

This review is being written on the patio of one of the most gorgeous homes on the beachfront in Newport Beach. Everyone should have the opportunity to stay in a house and setting this beautiful once in their lifetime…in our case, we hope to make it an annual event. Imagine cooking an exquisite meal in a gourmet kitchen, then enjoying it overlooking the Pacific Ocean (fabulous white-water view!) with a glass of wine in your hand, with the evening chill taken away by the warm dancing flames from a cobalt blue glass fire pit. Words cannot describe the amazing design elements: sculptures (mermaids, dolphins, sea turtles, etc.), custom marble fireplace, oversized marble showers, one with a steam shower, claw foot tub, remote-controlled awning/window shades, and totally integrated state-of-the-art entertainment system. The huge master bedroom suite offers spectacular panoramic ocean views along with sitting and built-in office areas. Comfortable, classy outdoor furniture also adorns the master bedroom’s balcony and the front terrace. The “wow” factor never ends here… this is paradise! AND, the owners are very personable!

Beautiful Home in a Perfect Newport Location!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Newport Beach. After walking up and down the boardwalk we are so pleased that we chose this house because it is without question one of the best spots. Closest to the water in the waves in front of the home are perfect for beginner surfers and boogie boards. The home is close enough to the bars and restaurants to make it very convenient but not too close to create unwanted noise and activity. It is a beautiful home, nicely done with upgraded technology which we greatly appreciated. A big bonus that most people don't think of is that this house has three parking places, which in Newport Beach is a big deal if you want to have friends come over. Thank you to the homeowners for allowing us to stay in your home we had a great vacation! The Cunningham Family

One of our best vacations ever!

We would highly recommend this home for anybody who wants a great Newport Beach vacation. We were pleasantly surprised with how luxurious and well equipped the home was. The location is fantastic as you are at the end of the 55 freeway and within five minutes you're on your way to any place you want to go in orange county. The home is one of the closest to the water allowing us to watch our children play on the beach from the front patio. If you like people watching, you will love this place. We had one small issue with a doorknob in one of the rooms, but the owners were very responsive and took care of it immediately. All was well equipped with everything that you could ask for, much more than you typically see in a rental.  If you choose to rent this home, you like we were will not be sorry but very pleased with your decision. Thank you to the Bicketts for a great vacation, and we will be back!  The Serhal Family

Beachfront Home~Dream Come True

Our family's stay started at the end of April and went to the end of June. We needed a home to stay at while repairs were being completed on our home. From the very first time that we had made contact with the owners they were so genuinely nice and caring to our needs for a temporary home. We knew that the experience at the house would be nothing less than spectacular!! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. What made our experience even more special and memorable is that we were able to bring our exotic birds and small dogs to share the experience. Ruby Rose, our Greenwing Macaw, who became very popular in Newport Beach, and Duke our miniature Severe Macaw, and Channing and Wyatt our cute King Charles Cavaliers also enjoyed. We have met so many nice people. The experience and this property has been unbelievable! We can't say and thank the owners of this wonderful property enough and how appreciative we are and all the very special memories that this beautiful place has done for us! We definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking for a 5 Star home to stay in while visiting Newport Beach. Experience of a lifetime!!

Most luxurious beautiful beach front home!

We have been travelling to Newport Beach from Calgary, Canada for 6 years now and this has been one of our most favorite homes that we stayed in! It was perfect for us and our 3 children...the home was very spacious with a modern open concept. Beautiful sliding glass doors that open right onto the beach with a very comfortable deck to lounge and watch all the action around you (the ocean, amazing sunsets, people walking by/playing volleyball/flying kites/surfing, dolphins, whales, etc.!). We found this location to be the best on the entire boardwalk. A very comfortable home all around - most welcoming the moment you walk in! The home is well equipped with everything possible - all you need is your personal attire! The beds were all so comfortable - especially the master tempur-pedic bed which at the end of the day day has a built in massager!! The master suite was gorgeous with a whole wall of windows to open up to the ocean!. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a luxurious 5-star stay! Needless to say we did not want to leave - but will def be back:) The owners are very friendly & prompt for any inquiries.

My wife and I love this home. Newport Beach is one of the nicest beaches on the planet. We both have grown up and lived in the area for most of our lives. We live in this home, 1/2 a year so it is not cared for like a typical high volume rental.

Why they chose this property

You will find out if you are lucky enough to stay here...

Location - Location - Location
Also this is the best swimming beach in Newport and our home is closer to the water than any area on the Newport Peninsula. The home is also one of the closest locations to the departure from Newport Beach. This means as comparison you can be to the freeways from our locations within 10 minutes where other locations it can go from 15 min to 45 min. Also, you are 3 blocks from Newport Harbor, just down the street(across the peninsula) Finally we are strolling close to 10-20 bars and restaurants, but not too close so that it is noisy.

Actually, the home has been completely remodeled in 2018, you will love it.
