Spend your days boating, fishing, or paddling around in the provided kayaks and canoes. The private dock gives easy access to Lower Machodoc Creek and the Potomac River, while the nearby Cabin Point beach is great for swimming, sandcastle building, or even pitching an umbrella and grilling out for the day.

Evenings are just as magical—gather around the fire pit for s’mores, enjoy games on the back porch, or challenge each other to foosball and ping pong. Whether you're soaking up the sun or enjoying cozy nights by the water, this river house is all about family fun and together time.

Additional amenities include: Keurig Coffee Maker, Espresso Maker, fully stocked chefs kitchen, gas grill, Green Egg, dock fish cutting station, 4 adult bicycles, cornhole, Canoe, and 4 Kayaks.

Boat, Boat Lift and Screen Porch Hot Tub are out of service and will not be available to guests. We will talk with guests upon booking to review the listing and answer any questions.

Also although we are not considered a Pet Friendly rental please be aware that if anyone has allergies for yellow labs we cannot guarantee that even though there is a thorough cleaning process there are dogs there in the off season.

Take me to the river! What a special restful retreat. Super homey and comfortable spot. Lovely dock with incredible sunset views. Plenty of room for a crowd though it was just two of us this time. Can picture big family dinners on the porch and game time in the basement. I’m sure we’ll be back! Oh, and the primary king bed was PLUSH. All in all a great stay. Thanks for hosting us. Until next time
