The house was certainly roomy and comfortable enough, but it is missing some basics, particularly in the kitchen that made cooking a bit of a challenge. I had to go across the street to borrow a can opener because the one in the drawer was unusable. The previous guests filled the garbage cans before we got there so that was a challenge. The hosts came and retrieved some of the garbage, but still not ideal. The hosts also brought over very-effective ant traps in a timely manner, but it was disconcerting to have to battle ants upon arrival.The neighborhood is close to amenities for eating out or shopping to eat in. It also seems to be short-term rental-dominated. We had to ask a large group of people next door to keep it down after a loud party went quite late. All in all it met our needs for a weekend stay but definitely room for improvement.
