The bed linens had animal hair and fuzz on them. The furniture was in poor condition; stained and torn. The house smelled like pets live there.

Why the need to lie? I’m pretty new to hosting on Vrbo, which means all my linens are new, and I just bought the duvet covers, you were actually the first to use them. So it’s impossible for there to be any pet hair, especially since I don’t live there and my listing is not pet-friendly. Everything was clean and in great condition when you checked in. The only issue that occurred was caused by you entering the wrong property at first.

Not worth the price . House slept 8, but it was not comfortable for 7 . The sectional couch was small , only fit 6 adults elbow to elbow. Ottoman coffee table was a mismatch , fall hazard, not enough room to walk between couch and coffee table . The oven was dirty and smoked up the kitchen every time we used it. Two bedrooms had sloping ceilings and we bumped our heads on them multiple times. The house was clean, but a bit dingy. The back yard was depressing. There was a dilapidated chicken coop, there was a broken deck board and overall the back yard was ugly. The kitchen table had damage, the kitchen chairs needed more foam and they sunk when you sat in them. There were a lot of cosmetic dings throughout the house. The shower handle fell off, the kitchen tile was stapled to the wall. Not enough living room seating. There was a weird office chair in the living room and a treadmill in the kitchen/ dining area. One of the bedroom TV’s did not work. The paint on the doors was uneven, There was some splatter on the back porch deck. The yard and backyard were somewhat unkept. The rugs in the bedroom were fall hazards and I slipped on one in the middle of the night. We travel a lot with at least 6 adults and this was by far the saddest, most uncomfortable VRBO we have ever stayed at. The house photos are deceiving . We took out garbage out and we followed the rules . The beds were comfortable , sheets and bedding were clean. The air conditioning and heat worked well,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the beds comfortable, the linens clean, and that the AC and heating worked well. I do want to clarify a few points for accuracy. The home is set up with three king beds and one queen bed, which comfortably accommodates 8 guests, in addition to a large sofa bed. Many groups have stayed comfortably within this capacity. Regarding the layout, the ottoman was intentionally placed to balance the space, and I specifically chose a different color so it wouldn’t match the couch and make everything look too uniform. It can also be easily moved if preferred to create more walking space. The sloped ceilings are clearly visible and the beds are positioned on the opposite side, so there is generally no need to walk directly under them. The oven was cleaned prior to your stay; however, it can begin to smoke if food residue accumulates and continues to be used without cleaning during the stay. I appreciate you pointing out the chicken coop and a few maintenance concerns. The coop was never in use and will be removed, and I will address the TV and other items mentioned. As for the photos, they were taken professionally and accurately reflect the space. That said, I’m always open to improving the guest experience and will continue making updates where needed. Thank you again for your feedback, it helps identify areas for improvement.

Clean older home that has had a few upgrades and some repairs, some of which looked like a work in progress. Host responded to my messages promptly. A couple things to note for future guests are that the “air conditioner” is a loud swamp cooler for the whole house and fans in each bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms were warm, even with outside temps less than triple digits. This house posed some obstacles for us as we were traveling with my 79-year-old mother. Steps to front door were halfway expected, but the bath/showers are deep with a big step in and out, with glass sliding doors. This was all fine for regular adults, but not good for elderly guests.

We had a very concerning experience at this property booked through Vrbo.At booking, the listing did not include any visitor restrictions, time limits, or clearly defined occupancy policies. Shortly after booking, we messaged the host that there would be four confirmed guests and up to four additional guests. The host responded “okay,” then later introduced a 9pm–9am “no visitors” rule via message that was not in the listing.The day before arrival, the host attempted to charge 70 per additional person, later reducing it to 50, despite previously acknowledging the guest count and without any such fees disclosed in the listing.During our stay, we discovered cameras that were not disclosed at booking and were told we were being “monitored.” While on the phone with support, the listing was updated to add these disclosures and policies. We have documentation of this.The property had cleanliness and condition issues, including hair on beds, stained pillowcases, a loose showerhead, a strong odor downstairs, and excessive heat upstairs.At 4am, we heard the front door open and called police to clear the home, which contributed to an environment where we felt unsafe.As we were leaving, we were addressed through the doorbell camera in a forceful manner inclyding statements such as "yoy can hear me" wirh instructions to move out of view. We were told a negative review would be left for us.A refund was eventually issued, but the experience was stressful and avoidable.
