Most of the blinds need to be fixed. The screen in the sliding door needs replacing

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review — we truly appreciate your feedback!
We wanted to clarify that the blinds are actually a newer cordless design that opens by lifting from the bottom, so no pull string is needed. We're sorry that wasn't more intuitive!
As for the screen, you're absolutely right to flag it — it was unfortunately damaged by a prior guest, and we are committed to getting it repaired before anyone else checks in.
We hope these minor issues didn't take away from your overall experience at our Bass Lake cabin, and we'd love the chance to welcome you back!
Great location with easy walking access to the shops and restaurants at The Pines. Quiet around the house, comfy and perfect for a relaxing time for two families.Definitely plan on returning.
The pictures do not do the cabin justice. We loved the 4 nights we stayed at Bass Lake. The cabin was well equipped, clean and in a great location. Highly recommend. Thank you

Thank you so much for the picture. I am adding it to our pictures. So nice of you to take and send that. I am so glad you had a great time at our cabin. You were great guests and we would love to host you again!
This was our first time renting a cabin. It was a perfect way to spend our family vacation. Easy location, quick replies, clean home, lovely atmosphere.
We stayed at this property for a wedding weekend at the Pines and it was wonderful. It was close to the resort and shops/market. The house was clean and had a great deck to relax on.
We loved our stay in your cabin. We felt like we were in the trees with a cute peekaboo view of the lake. The walking distance to The Pines was perfect. The location was great. We would love to stay here again and thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great cabin close to the Pines.
Property is well maintained and amply stocked with what you need to cook and enjoy the Bass Lake experience. One story cabin with level parking for three cars. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!
Location of the cabin was great along with excellent amenities. A few things to note - the AC is only in the main room, but they have plenty of fans to redirect the air to keep bedrooms cool (one bedroom has it's own). The Main Bathroom shower is a bit small, but absolutely serviceable (nice big bathroom otherwise). Would definitely recommend.

Weekend Yosemite Trip
Property location was perfect for our weekend trip to Yosemite NP. We spent a couple days in the park and another day at Bass Lake. Overall the property was great. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, microwave was disgusting, bedrooms were dusty, and trash was left in a bedroom.

So sorry you were unhappy with the cleanliness of our cabin. You were the first guests of the season and our cleaning service had not completed a deep clean yet. I am especially sorry about the condition of the microwave. That is not acceptable.I have taken steps to ensure the cabin is deep cleaned and all rooms dusted. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will try us again.
Beautiful spot near the lake. Easy walk to the water and The Pines. Spent a day hiking in Yosemite and enjoyed dinner ‘at home’ and relaxing on the deck that evening. Bass Lake area is always a treat!
Sweet space for 4 -6 adults or 4 adults & a couple kids. Cabin was very clean, well maintained, stocked & easy access parking. Peaceful location with a great deck. Small lake view but you feel like you’re living up in a treehouse. Will definitely book here again.
The cabin is fabulous. It’s spacious, but still feels cozy. The wrap around porch is a wonderful space to enjoy being outside. It was quiet and relaxing. The location of the cabin is perfect. You are close to so many amazing attractions the lake, hikes and Yosemite. The owner is great too! We didn’t want to leave!

Had a restful time with my children and husband. I would recommend to family and friends. I would recommend cleaning the patio furniture and outside grill. Other than that it was a great cute cabin. My children loved it and want to go back.
We were there for my nieces wedding. The cabin is truly walking distance to the Pines! It was perfect. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed!!!! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us......Oh can't forget the DECK!! Used it every night!!!

So happy you enjoyed your stay in our cabin Leilani! We do love the location so close to the Pines and our private deck with plenty of room to relax. We would be happy to host you again. I hope you will come back!
The home was perfect for our stay (4 adults, 2 children) and we will choose it again. It had all of the kitchen items and technology we needed. The owner was very kind and communicative. The location is near town and within minutes of the lake/beach access. Parking for 3 vehicles was good but the home is up a hill on a narrow road so we couldn't have parked the boat on property. It was quiet and the outdoor space was good. Great rental!

Nice cabin with everything needed to make your stay comfortable!
Very happy with our stay here at This cabin. We had 3 couples and there was ample parking space to fit 3 vehicles comfortably and that was a huge plus to welcome and start our stay. The cabin was fully stocked with pretty much everything imaginable needed for your stay. The kitchen had all the utencils and dishware necessary to cook, bbq and eat. Which is Not always the case when renting properties. The deck was fabulous, fire pit and lights made it nice to relax out under the stars. Restrooms and showers worked and were clean. All in all just a good find and great place to stay.
Forgot to mention there is a laundry room also. 👍🏾

Thank you so much Robert! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our cabin! We love to share our home away from home with guests!
Updated and nice amenities and especially loved the deck. Well stocked kitchen. Also liked the closeness of Pines Resort Market and other stores and restaurants. Took advantage of the Marina Bar and live music almost every night on Bass Lake. Few things in the house that could use improvement were the very loud furnace/air conditioner (woke us up at night when clicked on/off), only 1 queen size bed in master with bunk beds and full size bed in other rooms so not as comfortable for adults. Would also take out Futon in master as no place for suitcases and very tight to move around. Overall would recommend and return.

Hi Cindy,
I am glad you had a great getaway at our cabin in Bass Lake. Yes our large deck is fantastic and the fact that we can walk to the Pines is a definite plus. Our cabin is in a great location. We have a swamp cooler for air conditioning that cools quite well in the summer and does not click on and off. The gas furnace does turn on and off to keep the temperature regulated in the winter. We have had many families enjoy our cabin which is why we have bunk beds( full on bottom and twin on top) and a futon in the master where younger children can sleep close to their parents if needed . ( which is why we keep the futon in there) We have made room in some of the closets for more storage of suitcases. Thank you for the feedback and I am happy that you recommend our cabin and would return.

We really enjoyed out stay. The cabin is at a convenient location and is easy to find. It is well stocked and has a great layout. There is a public beach access a few miles down the road with some parking which is pay by day. The lake water level is pretty low, so it is a little walk from parking lot to the water. We also took the kids (5 and 6 years old) to the Sugar Pine Railroad and did the Lewis Creek trail to a waterfall swim hole. Both were great.
Overall, would stay again. The major kitchen appliances are new and high end. It could probably use a day or two or handyman work, but nothing that really affects quality of the stay. The bunk beds are wobbly and we did not let the kids use the top bunk for that reason. It needs lateral support. The grill cover was ripped and we couldn't find a grill brush.
Beach towels are not provided. We brought them, but I was surprised considering this is a lake house.

Hi Josh,
I am so glad you had a great time at our cabin at Bass Lake and took me up on my recommendations to bring your kids to Sugar Pine Railroad and Lewis Creek. We just renovated the kitchen and am glad you appreciated the large new fridge, microwave and gas stove. We have reinforced the bunk beds since your stay and assure you they are safe as my older children have slept there for a week. There is a grill brush now. We do not provide beach towels as our cleaning service launders all the sheets and towels between guests and it would take too long to launder beach towels as well. We do supply a large amount of regular white towels for your use. Thanks for your feedback! We do all we can do ensure a great stay for our guests.
This house was perfect for our group and even safe for my 2 year old. The recommendations left in the binder were very helpful and guided us to the perfect little beached area to spend our days. The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The owner was very responsive. We look forward to another stay!
Great cabin in the woods close to the Pines. Property has a nice cabin vibe to it yet has nice tech, kitchen, and fixture upgrades. Google controlled lights, stereo, tv and tunes on the deck were great. Good experience, well priced for the market, definitely would book it again.

We moved to California 12 years ago and explored the state immensely. We have visited Tahoe, Lake Shasta and other areas and never found anything to compare with Bass Lake!We have been vacationing here with our three children for the past ten years. Once we came, we couldn't wait to come back year after year. We finally bought our own cabin this year and hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
Why they chose this property
Our property is within walking distance to the lake and the Pines resort. It is 20 minutes from Yosemite. It is located at the end of a cul de sac and is a private setting but close to lots of activities.
What makes this property unique
Living area with wood burning fireplace, pine walls and vaulted ceilings with wood beams. Looks out onto wrap around porch and Sierra national forest. After a day of boating on the lake, relax in the hammock surrounded by tall pines in your own private forest.
