Great stay at this property! Inside of condo was well equipped with all kitchen appliances (small and large), great master bed! Incredibly comfortable! All tvs are smart TV’s! Streaming was not an issue! Location is just perfect! Owner, Howard was just a pleasure to communicate with!

Great place and location

Heart of heaven

Amazing stay at oceanfront second floor Mission Beach condo. Close to shopping, restaurants, grocery store. Great communication with vrbo owner. Kids loved the easy access to surf and sand! A great choice for families/extended families.

Perfect location with a great view!

Very nice condo with updated accommodations and comfortable beds. Well stocked with plenty of cookware and lots of pantry items. There are umbrellas and chairs available for beach use. Owner was in touch to make sure all was going well. Overall a great experience and would stay here again.

Perfect beach vacation spot

Had a wonderful relaxing time on the beach. The condo is beaUtiful with everything needed to feel at home away from home. Loved the garage parking. Howard was very responsive to my questions. Would love to come back and bring my family next year. Thanks for a great week in lovely Mission Beach!

Vacation in hometown

Loved the week here. A couple of locals who grew up, moved away yet always love coming “home” to the San Diego Beach. Great people watching and access to shops, restaurants and activities. Parking garage is excellent. Excellent communication with owner. Thanks, Howard! Would def stay again

Lovely Condo with an Incredible Sunset Views

The condo is spacious and well stocked for out of town visitors. It is updated and clean. Plus has onsite garage parking which was so convient! Mission Beach has an active community feel and the condo was in walking distance to a great coffee shop, Better Buzz, and a handful of casual restaurants. We were at Mission Beach for a mother/adult daughter trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are active during the day with hiking, biking and site seeing, so we really enjoyed watching the sunset from the condo balcony and the big screen TV with the speakers in the ceiling for a Netflix movie later in the evening.

Great place but please fix camera situation

The property photos are accurate and the unit is very clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities that you need and the view from the balcony is fantastic. The balcony would have been perfect but there is a camera mounted to the top of the balcony ceiling that points out to one of the building entrances. This made us slightly uncomfortable when we first arrived but then we saw the camera rotate a full 360 degrees (which means at one point during the spin it was looking straight at us) this made us extremely uncomfortable. I believe the welcome book mentions that cameras located around the exterior of the unit are for security of the building but its location and rotating features felt intrusive to our privacy as guests. Surely there must be a better place to mount a camera and utilize one that doesn't spin 360 degrees? Also, for true transparency it should be disclosed whether the camera unit is recording audio since its right where you will be sitting to enjoy the view. Howard was a really great host to allow us to check in early and that was greatly appreciated. If he were to resolve this camera issue I'd only have positive things to say about our stay.

Great location

perfect beachfront spot

This upgraded unit is located on the second floor with ocean views from the living room and kitchen and primary bedroom. Everything is upgraded and newish. Excellent communication with the owner (not a management company, which is key! It is a staircase and several steps to the sand. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Fantastic Place

This place is absolutely great! It was everything we could hope for. It was just my wife, son (4 years old) and I. The location was as good as it gets as it’s right on the beach. Also the location is perfect where it’s at as it’s not right next to Belmont Park so the beach isn’t overly crowded (it’s really only occupied by those who are staying in that area). The unit itself is very spacious especially the kitchen. TV options were fantastic as you not only had DIRECTV but had all the streaming options as well. One of the best parts is the communication from Howard before, during and after. It is very nice to know that if anything were to go wrong you would get an instant response. The instructions/guide he sent before our trip were a solid tool for us throughout our trip. We would definitely like to rent this place again in the future!

The location and views are terrific. Property needs attention. Peeling paint and stucco, tired well-used furnishings. Be aware of cameras....we counted at least 4.

WOW

What an absolute gem of a place!. Everything was great. We only had 3 people in the unit, but has a lot of space for more. Loved the balcony and people watching. Hope to get back to this place again.

Wonderful experience

Exceptionally clean. Well furnished. Furniture is very comfortable. Location can’t be beat. Several bars/ restaurants close by and it’s a 12-15 minute walk to either end of the boardwalk with everything else you could ever want.

Fantastic Oceanfront Location

Our family of 5 came from the East Coast to San Diego to drop off our Freshman at San Diego State University. We spent a week in this perfect location. Our host was very gracious.

What a view!

This property is perfectly positioned between Mission and Pacific beaches and, as such, is in that sweet spot of daytime beach activity while offering peaceful weekday evenings. Since the property fronts the boardwalk, you get it all from a very comfortable and well-appointed condo. The property owner has thought of everything with respect to comfort and technology but, if there are any issues, a prompt reply will happen. Highly recommended!

Perfect Beach Vacation/Getaway

We loved this condo—perfect for a couple or two or a fam of four. Pictures exactly match the unit—incredibly remodeled with modern everything. Super comfortable too and truly not possible to be any closer to the beach and ocean. Owner and neighbors are super nice and welcoming. We will be back!
