Great location and perfect size for our family of 5 with room to spare. Our only “complaint” (which is our fault, not the property) was there is not A/C. It does list that in the property description however, we missed it. Normally it’s fine because this close to the beach you have an ocean breeze. We just happened to be there during a heat wave that saw it 100 degrees even while sitting on the beach. And temps stayed in the 90’s so it was 90 in the house. Again, not the norm just a heads up for other families with small kids like us. Other than that, great!!

Great location and family house

We really enjoyed our stay and had all the necessities we needed. We also loved that foe check out all we had to do was turn the lights off and lock the doors.

Amazing Location

One of the best homes we’ve stayed at in Mission. The convenience of the location beats any flaws we may have had in the home which was not very many. Host was very responsive and friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful property just steps from the beach and Belmont Park. The home was immaculate and included beach supplies for enjoyment. I would recommend this location to anyone and would stay again. No AC but open windows and fans work just fine.

This is the second time we stayed with this host, they are super friendly, very responsive, always helpful and make it so painless and easy. No doubt I would recommend this place to anyone and any of the places that these hosts have. Thank you guys so much! 'weook forward to staying with you again

The host was lovely—communicative, welcoming, etc. We had a great time. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfy. Mostly great but there a few small things to note—the house doesn't have a lot of bath towels so we were constantly washing-especially with 2 little kids. The coffee maker broke and there were no sheets on the bunk beds. The sheets were under the pillows and we had to make the beds when we arrived. Last thing we wanted to do with two little kids after a long flight. These are allsmall things—overall would highlyrecommend.

We enjoyed our stay and visit with freinds. Mission beach is happening place. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation, Mission beach is not the place. Property location is perfect if you want to be close to Belmont Park and you have a family. The Beaches are clean and the view from the Master is gorgeous. During our stay we had trash in our garage trash can from the previous guest. It wasn’t a huge problem other than the fruit flys and flys it attracted. We stopped entering and exiting thru garage. Master bed was comfortable. Could use new pillows for more comfort.

Mission Beach - Great location

Great walking distant to the beach and Belmont Park! Everything was as described, plenty of space for everyone to hang out, sleep and eat. Owners are awesome communicators! Only issue is the garage, extremely difficult to park an SUV in very small garage off an alley. Decided to look for other parking options after first time of parking in garage. Great view of beach from master bedroom, if there is some way to clean the windows more frequently that would be a great benefit for others to enjoy the view.

Spring break getaway 2024

we were a group of 7. two adults and five teenage boys aged 17. this home is in mission beach/belmont park and a quick one minute walk to the boardwalk. truly can't beat the location. the boys could be independent but were always minutes from "home". everything in san diego is accessible. we did have a vehicle so we could do grocery store runs and visit local sights. easy to navigate around for those like us who don't know the area. our host was fabulous and available when we needed him but frankly that wasn't much at all. we would definitely be back. highly recommend.

This place was great. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. There is no AC, but that is not an issue. Just open the windows and get a cool breeze. They also had 5 boogie boards and a few beach chairs that our kids loved to use. I would come again for sure. It gets really crowded on the weekends in the summer. Street parking is hard to find. The garage is nice to have but you really need a sedan or compact SUV, like a rav4. We had a Honda pilot and it would only barely fit. I had to hug one wall and climb across the seats to get out the passenger door.

The property was as expected. There were a lot of perks with the location and the size of the home. The property managers were responsive and easy to work with. The beach items in the garage were in good condition and provided something for everyone. I thought the patio areas could have been a little cleaner based on the price we paid for a week! I tried to clean the table and chairs off myself but there were too many layers to clean so we were unable to sit outside in that area. Overall I would recommend to anyone wanting to be in a place where they can enjoy mission beach and San Diego.

Perfect location but it should be mentioned that there isn’t any air conditioning!! Not the worst Vrbo I’ve stayed in but could’ve been better!

Great Family Location

We had a wonderful stay. A few steps to the beach. The place is well stocked, towels, chairs, beach toys etc. Our family of 7 with 3 teenagers a 9 and 7 year old had plenty of room. Great Wi-Fi and TV apps kept them happy at night. The location is great with walking access to restaurants and the amusement park. I found this to be a great location with quick drives to downtown, and plenty of sightseeing places. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Amazingly Close to the Beach!

We loved the amenities the house offered….most importantly the proximity to o the beach and being able to walk there in the morning along the boardwalk, and to grab the provided beach chairs and boogie boards and head to the water. Our party was my husband and me, our daughter and her family which included a 12-year old and a 9-year old. The San Diego area also offered a diverse choice of great day trips.

Very Comfortable Open Plan

The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children. The only issue we had was parking in the tandem garage with SUVs. They didn’t fit. We had to get lucky to park on the street. It worked out. We were right next to the beach, which was nice, and close to Sea World, less than 2 miles away. You could hear people on the roller coaster and people renting next to us, but it was fairly quiet by 10:00 p.m. we had a great stay!

Pretty & Convenient Locale

Great stay overall. Beautiful view. Check-in was delayed and it was difficult getting ahold of our host. Having multiple codes for each door was a mess. Things went much smoother when we were able to use one code for all doors. Also there were ants in kitchen and rooms but that’s also the season. Overall, the place was great.
