About this property

Serenity Bay, Keowee Lakefront Cabin, Covered Dock, Kayaks, Clean, Near Clemson

We have been renting our home since 2013 with overwhelmingly 5-star reviews. The reviews have frequently commented on the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of the beds and furniture. The 3-story layout allows for private sleeping or hanging out areas, but also a large great room for all to gather together. Our renters especially comment on our covered deck as their favorite hangout.

We have a covered dock to keep your boat protected from rain and sun, which is just a few easy steps from the house. Many houses on the lake have a very steep and or long walk to the lake. Our house is about 50 steps from the lake with a very easy grade.

Another nice feature of our house is the cove that we sit in. It is wide and deep enough for comfortable floating and swimming but does not get fast boat traffic and waves like other homes on the bigger parts of the lake.
We also have 4 kayaks available for our renters to use.

We spend a lot of time and effort to keep our house maintained, clean and updated. If you choose, we think you will be extremely happy with your stay.

Do not lock door handle when exiting. (Only lock dead bolt)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
3 car limit on driveway. Additional short term parking at end of street. No parking on grass or landscape.

We came into Clemson for my daughters college graduation. This property was a perfect getaway for a short weekend trip and to bring family together to celebrate such a great achievement. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

I have rented many properties over the years and this fabulous spot is one of my very favorites. The house is beautiful and the setting is beyond gorgeous! We loved everything about it including the wonderful next door neighbors who were so helpful and even took us on a boat ride to show us this gorgeous lake none of us had ever been to.

We had such a great time at this rental. The location of the house is in a very quiet cove. The fishing was great, the swimming was safe, and the convenience of the dock were top notch! The home had everything we could need and so much more! We can’t wait to come back!

Family Reunion

The residence and its setting are beautiful. The house is exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed many happy meals and good conversations there. We loved our day on the lake using a rented pontoon boat. Paddle boarding in the slough and fishing from the dock added joy to our days.

Another great week on Lake Keowee

Had a blast on our vacation at Lake Keowee. The house was great-we had two families staying and were all very comfortable. We opted for a little larger house this year as the kids are all teens now and this was a perfect size for the 7 of us. In a quiet cove we had a great time using our boat, floating around the dock, using the paddleboard and exploring the lake. House is well equipped. We would stay here again.

So Much Fun

We rented jetskis and had a blast. We hung out on the porch as a family, the young adults made use of the fire and that hang-out room downstairs! The beds were super comfortable and the kayaks and SUP let me get my tan on. Thanks so much for a wonderful graduation adventure!

The owners, Dave and Susan Smith welcome you Serenity Bay! We purchased our Lake house in June of 2013, and are happy to share it with you. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio where Dave is a system's analyst and Susan is a retired fourth grade teacher. We enjoy most outdoor activities and love spending time with our friends and family at the lake.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with our house because of its warm, rustic, mountain feel, yet with modern amenities that make it comfortable. Our favorite part of the house is the covered porch overlooking the beautiful views of the lake. We also love our covered dock and how it is only a few easy steps to the house.

We fell in love with Lake Keowee because of its beauty and the activities that the nearby area offers. We chose our house because of it's quintessential lake house feel, with many modern comforts and upgraded finishes.
