You want a vacation. You NEED a vacation!!!! Or maybe you have some work in Honolulu (lucky you), visiting family or considering a move to paradise (again, lucky you).

You want a clean home-away-from-home with a great location, enchanting views, many amenities, and NO RESORT/HIDDEN FEES!!! Well, this piece of paradise at Waikiki Beach with ocean and full Diamond Head view is the perfect place for you!

This condo is offered at a reduced rate due to a renovation project on the building's 6th-floor recreation deck. This unit is on the 27th floor, so construction noise is minimal or not noticeable at all with the A/C on.

Unavailable during remodeling: swimming pool, hot tubs, BBQ grills, and playground.

While the on-site pool is closed, just up the street you'll find a large, lifeguard-protected saltwater swimming area (see the photo with the bright umbrellas). It's ideal for swimming, wading, and relaxing—very child-friendly and located next to one of the island's top boogie-boarding spots. Nearby, you'll also enjoy a beautiful beach with shady trees and snorkeling at the Waikīkī Marine Life Conservation District.

We remodeled with new kitchen appliances, tile flooring, cabinets with granite counters, and furnishings! It is a comfy 600-square-foot condo that sleeps up to four people. It has one bedroom, one bath, a full kitchen, a living room and a private lanai (balcony). The bedroom has two queen beds, and the living room has a queen-size sofa bed.

The room comes with free private WIFI, flat-screen TV, cable TV, all linens, beach towels, a full-size refrigerator, stove, stove with pots and pans, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and utensils, iron and ironing board, two (or more) full-size boogie boards, two (or more) Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs, and a small beach cooler.

The full kitchen contains all you will need for your stay: plates, glasses, silverware, a full-size stove, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, a rice cooker, pots and pans, etc. We also have a Pack 'n Play available for a small child.

We provide a parking pass that gives you one free unassigned parking stall in the onsite parking garage with full in-and-out privileges.

If you need to do some work during your visit (or have a lot of photos to share), we've installed your own private, free high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, so you don't have to share the network.

This unit is in the very popular Waikiki Banyan condominium, offering great amenities, and is located just a 5-minute walk from one of the world's most famous beaches! A large recreation deck on the 6th floor has a swimming pool, spa/hot tub, sauna, barbecue grills, tennis court, children's playground and snack bar. Every floor of the building has a trash chute and a coin-operated laundry.

It is also close to the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, Waikiki Marine Life Conservation District, restaurants, live music venues, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, hiking, farmers markets and many more fun activities. It is within easy walking distance of the new International Marketplace, as well as popular spots like Duke's, Cirque de Soleil's Auana, Blue Note jazz club, grocery stores, hundreds of shops, and more.

If you have been to Waikiki before, you will appreciate that this property comes with FREE PARKING. And if you don't want to drive but visiting other locations is on your agenda, it is right next to bus stops that give you access to the whole island.

We've significantly discounted our rates due to a remodeling project on the recreation deck. The swimming pool, hot tubs, barbecues, and playground will be unavailable for at least the remainder of 2025, with no confirmed end date yet. However, the new sauna, restrooms, and showers will remain open.

The recreation deck is located on the 6th floor, and this unit is on the 27th floor—far enough above to help reduce construction noise. With the air conditioning turned on, many guests report not hearing any construction at all.

Construction may occur Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although work often ends earlier. Noisy work is not allowed on Saturdays, and no construction is permitted on Sundays or holidays.

Condo was great, minor detailing could be done from the cleaning team, but it definitely has a homey feel. All the reviews on the property being old and out dated are true, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Perfect Siblings Vacation!

My siblings and I had a FANTASTIC stay at Steve's Waikiki Banyan condo! Very clean, lots of space, all the amenities we needed and a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean. Steve was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again on our next Hawaii trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Hawaii. The property was very close to Waikiki Beach about 3-5 minutes walk. The location was close to nice restaurants and you can see ocean and Diamond head from the property. The property had all the things that were advertised in the advertisement. Our time was made more enjoyable by staying at this property. The host is very nice and kind, the property had all the things that you will need to spend your vacation with kids or without kids. The check-in process was very smooth. Wi-Fi in the apartment was pretty good too. Overall, awesome vacation rental. I highly recommend.

Great Hawaiian Getaway!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Steve's rental. It has a great view of Diamond Head and was more comfortable than I expected. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals for ourselves and the location enabled us to walk to everything Waikiki has to offer, and the free parking was a great bonus!

Suite had everything we needed, beach toys & chairs were greatly appreciated and location was perfect. Steve was on top of the (very minor) issue we had, and provided lots of additional information to make the most of our stay. Great location

Nice place, a couple blocks from the beach. Across the street from Marriott. It is an apartment bulding. A little dated, but very conveint to the beach and good restaurants.

Wonderful visit!

We had a wonderful visit! Steve is a great host! The condo was older but had everything we could have needed including a parking spot. It was just a block from the beach which was nice for those evening strolls. Steve communicated frequently and answered any questions that I had. This was the first time using VRBO and we couldn’t have had a better host!

Fabulous in Waikiki!

We loved our stay at this property. Comfy beds, beautifully clean, convenient kitchen. ..everything we could want at a great location at the quiet end of Waikiki. Really appreciated the car park being included as having a car for our whole stay meant we could explore the island. Considerate and caring owner was available to deal with any issues (not that there were any!) We'll be back and won't hesitate to stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The location Diamond Head View was perfect and made our stay truly memorable. We were impressed by the excellent condition of the property which has many useful amenities especially beach items like bodyboards, chairs and so on. The owner Steve was responsive, enhancing our stay even further. He gave us detailed information about check-in and room facilities, and we were able to enter the room smoothly. Dirty room

Room, kitchen supply, vacuum, floor, bathroom corner all dirty. I look pictures as proof. Management should check room occasionally. Too many things to do in contact. If so please clean room Worst room I had Vrbo site.

Steve is a real estate broker and has been licensed in Hawaii since 1999. Iku is a licensed real estate agent and a native Japanese speaker. We have traveled extensively and this gives us an understanding of what our guests need to make their stay enjoyable and safe. And being owners of rentals gives us the experience to help others buy and sell rentals and second homes.

We founded a vacation rental company named A Piece of Paradise on Hawaii Island (aka The Big Island) in 1996 and managed wonderful vacation homes in a special area named Kapoho. In 2011 we sold A Piece of Paradise and began relocating to Honolulu. A multi-year search for properties followed, and our hard work paid off!

In addition to managing our own properties we also love to help others buy their own piece of paradise in Hawaii. Even if you cannot live in Hawaii full time, It is a wonderful feeling to know that you have property is here and you can come whenever you want. And when you are not staying at your property the rent can help pay the bills.
