The pool was a huge plus as the ocean is 10 min away. Plus you can walk around the lagoon or head uphill into neighborhoods. Great walking! Downtown is very accessible with a good variety of restaurants. Grocery store options are close as well (KTA, Cost-U-less). Farmers' market the best place to buy fruits and veggies and support local. Condo Management was The BEST.

This condo is spectacular in so many ways! First, the hosts are wonderful to work with - they are very responsive to questions and make everything seamless. In addition, I can't say enough about the unit itself - it is flooded with natural light with tasteful decor. Both bedrooms and the living area have balconies with peaceful views of trees and water. Sunrises are beautiful. The condo was a very peaceful retreat after long days. The air conditioning is a plus as it can get warm in Hilo. I also loved being able to sleep at night with the sliding glass doors open (and a/c off) to let the cool ocean breeze through. The bedrooms are very spacious - the king beds are very comfortable and there is more than ample closet space. There is no carpet in the unit, which makes it feel clean and cool. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked including a blender, an Aroma cooker and even glass storage containers. Oh, did I mention that there is a bidet in one of the bathrooms! I would be thrilled to stay here again.
