Your Modern Lakefront Getaway -
Welcome to The Stowaway by Black Label Cabins, where sleek modern design meets the peaceful charm of the woods. This one-of-a-kind, high-end tiny cabin blends luxury amenities, thoughtful details, and unforgettable experiences — all on the edge of a quiet lake, surrounded by semi-private wooded acres.
From sunrise coffee on the deck to starlit s’mores by the fire, every moment here is designed to help you relax, connect, and create lasting memories.
What You’ll Love -
Hot Tub Oasis – Soak under the stars with mood lighting, bluetooth & smart speakers, and a towel warmer.
Outdoor Movie Nights – Watch your favorite films on the covered deck TV while relaxing by the fire table or soaking in the hot tub. Big game days hit different when you’re cheering on your team under the stars with friends and a cozy drink in hand.
Under the Stars – Gather around the propane fire table beside the hot tub for cozy evenings and conversation. Head down to the lower deck to roast s’mores over the wood-burning fire pit, with logs and roasting sticks provided. Fire up the stainless steel gas grill and enjoy meals at the covered porch picnic table for six, or sip drinks at the live-edge bar-top with stools and a convenient pass-through serving window. All of it is set beneath twinkling café lights and fairy lights that add a little extra magic to the night.
Lakeside Fun – Dock access, kayaks, fishing poles, fish food, and a boardwalk that lets you walk barefoot straight from your front door to the water.
Play Like a Kid Again – Tiny arcade with Pins Mechanical-style games, outdoor bar & grill, hammocks, and porch games.
Witness Nature – Keep an eye out for our local “neighbors” who love to stop by — deer, birds, squirrels, and the occasional owl. They’re friendly, curious, and always eager to see what’s happening around the cabin.
Cozy Comforts – Battery-operated candle-lit fireplace in the living room, smart TVs inside & outside, a stocked kitchen, coffee bar, complimentary slippers, staple toiletries, and surprise keepsakes to take home.
Special Touches – Grocery stocking, holiday/celebration décor, s’mores kits, and even allergy medicine — some complimentary, others available for an additional fee.
Sorry, no pets allowed.

Water Safety – Life vests are provided for lake use. Please supervise children and non-swimmers at all times.
Parking – Primary parking is located at the top of the driveway (about a 300-foot walk to the cabin). Seasonal AWD/4WD access to park directly at the cabin may be permitted at the owner’s discretion.
Shared Community Spaces – While the cabin and its yard are private, subdivision trails, roads, and select recreational spaces are shared with other guests. The subdivision also offers a larger private lake for all Holiday Haven guests to enjoy. Maps and details are provided at the cabin.
Firewood & Supplies – An initial bundle of firewood is provided for the fire pit. Additional bundles can be purchased nearby.
Special Requests – Celebration décor, grocery stocking, and other add-on experiences are available with advance notice.

Bugs – Even with professional pest control, you may encounter bugs inside or outside — a natural part of the wooded environment.
Cell Service – Coverage varies by carrier. Wi-Fi is provided for calls, messaging, and internet use. If the cabin loses power, cell service will also be lost; service typically returns within 5 minutes of driving out of the subdivision. There is no generator on the property.
Location – The Stowaway is in Holiday Haven, a small cabin community often rented to other guests. While the cabin sits on 2 wooded acres, neighboring cabins are within sight and sound.

About the host
Hosted by Kelley Ebert

Hi! I'm Kelley (aka: Cabin Chick). I've been working on building The Stowaway since 2013 and started taking guests in 2025 - 12 years!. The Stowaway has quite a story originating from a different property altogether 80 miles away where it was smaller and shorter! Check out our Instagram @BlackLabelCabins to learn the whole story! You might even recognize me and the cabin from HGTV tiny house shows and multiple local TV interviews and News articles!
Why they chose this property
Hocking Hills is GORGEOUS and a great getaway from the nearby cities in Ohio. As a mom of 4, I wanted a place where not only do I host guests, but I can host my own family, too!
What makes this property unique
There's not too many waterfront properties that are ALSO tiny houses! Going tiny doesn't mean having to go small. I've designed this cabin and space with big ideas and there's so much to do in and outside - you'll be amazed of all you can do with 500 sq ft!
