We struggled the whole time. Check-in instructions weren't provided before our check-in time, and when we contacted the host, we couldn't call them and had to message, then they didn't respond until we called Vrbo support. The code they gave us didn't work, then when we got the right code, the box was stuck and hard to open. The loft itself is okay, but it didn't feel like the quality matched the price. Tables were wobbly and unsteady, the bed was uncomfortable, and the area was kind of sketchy overall. The walls are paper-thin, we could hear exactly how disgruntled the people nextdoor were with their loft.
Buyer beware! I didn’t see a previous review before it was too late to cancel booking. The host was very unresponsive. I needed to change the length of my stay & wrote a month in advance. He didn’t answer for days When he finally answered, he complained that I didn’t give him enough time to fill his space. I wrote him again & again trying to confirm the change. He complained that no other booking has ever texted him so much. I said that I only tried to communicate so much because he was not answering me. I was hours behind schedule due to an accident at my airport, so arrived very late. He was fully aware of my late arrival time. He said there was a lock box, clearly marked with the #1. He sent a pic w a clear sticker saying #1. When I arrived, there were at least 15 lock boxes, none said #1I tried all. I found one that opened, but was empty. It was 12pm. Police stopped to see if I was OK. I’m a tiny woman, no lighting, freezing cold trying to open boxes. Policemen also tried for 20 minutes to open every lock box. None opened. They offered a ride to a hotel. I declined as I wanted to give host a chance & texted over & over. No answer. VRBO finally tried calling Nope! So they canceled the reservation & covered hotelNext day host berated me, accusing me of not even trying. I had Police proof that I had tried. Area was garbage strewn & front door dilapidated. I found a bullet on the entry floor. Host had only to answer the phone & he’d not have lost the reservation.
