My husband and I stayed here, and loved it! We could've easily had our kids stay too, as there were enough beds, and a well-stocked kitchen for us to make our meals there. Very friendly and helpful interaction with Adrienne when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Hosts were welcoming and the location is wonderful--view of the lake, walking distance to the docks, plenty of outdoor space for the children to run and play, great patio and gas grill. The indoor space is beautiful and offers lots of space. The double sink is really nice. The single toilet will be even more accommodating when it gets updated to an ADA unit. Our older family members had a hard time getting off the commode. We hope to return for spring panfishing!

The view are excellent. The cookies the owners provided were gone in a flash. It was a whirlwind weekend and we left wanting to spend more time there! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Had a blast at the lake. My kids fished from the dock and caught a lot of fish. The hosts were very hospitable and even helped us with we needed help fixing our boat. Great location and wonderful drive through the woods to get into town. Keosauqua is a quiet little town where there is more to do than you think. Lots of great places to shop and eat within a 20-25 min drive also.

Cabin on the lake

Nice property for short stay, very close to the lake. One sink was very slow draining and the shower door was not working properly. Other than those two things everything was fine. Would have preferred a charcoal or gas grill rather than an electric grill. We did experience problems with a rebate for one night because we stayed one day less than originally booked.

After a hectic summer, my wife and I needed a quiet get away. This was the perfect quiet place in the middle of beautiful, and historic Van Buren county. It is centrally located from a lake, state park and all the wonderful things the county has to offer. Adrienne (our host) was excellent to work with. We highly recommend the place. :)

Peaceful Retreat

This is a part of Iowa we've never visited. A cancelled bus trip lead to the decision to stay in Iowa. I think we may have chosen one of the best places to stay while visiting this part of of the state. There were quite a few amenities on site that we could have taken advantage of, but we chose to eat at area restaurants. In addition to that, there were a few villages in the area worth the road trip on the day we reserved for that purpose. It's a nice place to stay if your goal is a quiet getaway.
