Lovely country home on historic eight acre estate in the black hills

Allbright Haus is located on Rapid Creek in the Black Hills, but only eight miles from Rapid City. It has 3 brs with 2 king beds, one queen bed and 2 baths. Each bdrm has it's own flat screen TV plus LR has a 55' Flat tv. This home has a large covered veranda with a little gazebo , great for evening sitting and daytime picnics. The view is a manicured lawn surrounded by majestic spruce that goes on forever, and a sparkling creek , winding down the canyon. Large cooking kitchen with dinning room that seats three couples comfortably. Cozy library-sitting room with gas fireplace. Room to spread out! This home is perfect for 2-3 couples (Children 13 and above) who want to be spoiled after a day out in the Black Hills. How about a relaxing soak in your six person salt water spa? Ahh. This home is a treasure to be sure!!

Hi, Guest,From highway 44 West turn onto Thunderhead Falls rd. We are about a fourth of a mile into the canyon. You will see two rock posts with lights on top ,to your right with lights on top. Go in between them and your house will be on the left. Pull into the carport. The red door will be unlocked. Don't lock the second door please. The keys and information will be on the kitchen island. You are home!!

What a wonderful home. Location perfect for Custer, Mt Rushmore, Deadwood and of course Rapid City. We also traveled to Badlands and back for a great day trip. The home is very family friendly, peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place for our vacation.

Beautiful home in a very quiet area. It is a bit outside the city. We visited Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Deadwood. Each place was an hour away. We didn’t mind the drive because we enjoy the scenery.

Great property

This was a wonderful place to stay. There was plenty of room and we saw a lot of wildlife while relaxing on the gazebo/Veranda. The house was very comfortable and had all the comforts of a home away from home! The Host was very friendly and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to the area.

I'm in the home rental business and not easily impressed but Audries is the quintessential Black Holls retreat; canyon, stream, quiet, manicured grounds and historic homestead with much charm, grace and spacious enough for large celebatory gatherings!

Black Hills Getaway

This house is a little piece of heaven. The home was beautiful and in a lovely setting. The owners were very pleasant as well. We very much enjoyed calling this place home for our time there. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Lovely vacation home

My family stayed at this lovely Black Hills home for 6 nights. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door. The home was immaculate, welcoming, and provided all the necessary comforts. The grounds were as beautiful as the home itself. Definitely an A+ vacation rental

What an amazing property. The homeowners Gary and Audry are so kind! This property is secluded so you have privacy, yet close enough to everything you want to see! We even had a mama and her three baby deer visit us every day.

Beautiful place with a large porch where we enjoyed our coffee each morning as we watched the parade of wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and birds. The house was perfect and cozy.

I grew up on this property, have traveled the world and find no other place , that I, rather be. I also have a bed and breakfast here, started in 1985. We really care about your comfort and have been told that the quiet here is priceless.

Why they chose this property

My parents, the Allbright,s gave this place their all. They loved this place as much as I do now. I think they would be pleased with all the people who come to this couples retreat and soak up the peace and quiet, as they did.

What makes this property unique

I especially love the creek views and the sound of the water, but also the view off of the veranda. Sitting in front of the fireplace is another favorite.
