We stayed here on the way to do some excursions a bit further north & were looking for a peaceful/calm location to relax a couple days. The host was very responsive/helpful & the home itself was in great shape. Absolutely somewhere we would (and probably will) book again!

Great location and beaches close by!Felt like a tropical island getaway. The house is beautiful, large airy living space, beautifully furnished in all rooms for that tropical island vibe, small but very functional kitchen! We used the kayaks on the last day which was a lot of fun.Great kid, friendlybeaches close by where we saw dolphins, rays and other small fish. And a couple of amazing sunsets.A lot of the basic things were there for us just in case we didn’t bring stuff with usToothbrush, toothpaste, shampoos coffee, tea, et cetera. But I would highly recommend a stop by the nearest supermarket on the way in as there’s really not much in the way of stores close by.Host was super responsiveWe really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely do it again.Definitely a special treat.

It was perfect! Pine island is a gem and Tidewater Pearl is the crowning jewel of the island! Start the morning with a sunrise from the top balcony off the small bedroom and end the day with a short walk to the beach with a sunset. The attention to detail was on point, everything was thought of and available! Loved having kayaks and the screened in porch is perfect for resting after morning trips down the Weeki Wachee. We will definitely return and have already shared this listing with friends!

The property was clean, quiet, comfortable, easy to find, and well appointed. The public beach at the end of the street is closed at night, but the next road over has a walk through to the private beaches along the west side of the island, and as long as you're considerate of others people dont seem to mind folks walking along the beach or doing beach combing. The beaches are all very shallow for quite a distance out, so not really suitable for swimming, but for wading and beach combing theyre great. The third bedroom with twin beds requires you take stairs outside the house and go up to whats essentially a third floor balcony. The steps could get a bit slick after rain or dew, so probably wouldnt be suitable for people with mobility issues. Our 20 year old loved having a private aerie to herself, though, with its own bathroom. The third floor balcony gives a great view of the sunrise. The laundry is in the back bedroom, and can get a bit loud in that bedroom even though its hardly audible in the rest of the house with the door closed. Theres a kayak launch across the street that allows access to the mangrove canals, and the kayaks are in pretty good shape; you can also get ocean access through the canals at high tide, though the kayaks at the house are not designed for ocean use. We stayed five days and had a very relaxing, restful time. Weeki Wachee and a manatee tour at Homosassa gave us planety to do. Restaurants and grocery stores are about 15 minutes away.
